Focus Needed
Had some issues using the @kiokizz SplinterStats site this time around so I manually took down my notes from the last Season; wish I had the stats!
It was another interesting Season for me as I struggled to get to Champion Division throughout the Season. I think it was mostly due to my schedule and lack of focus given work being busy and having the beginning of my vacation travel all happening at once. Trying to multitask while using my energy is quite challenging despite being able to be more mobile as of late.
It was horrible for me in Modern this Season as I could not get many winning streaks while losing streaks were a daily occurrence. I was surprised as it went so well for me the previous season but focus is needed to get a consistent performance in these days as the ranked Modern league is competitive given the great rewards.
I continue to accumulate Glint in anticipation of the new reward cards as the Titles have become less interesting for me as my focus on land somewhat wanes given the challenges around the ecosystem and what seems like a lack of focus on development.
I can never complain with the amount of SPS per battle won in Modern these days. If only I could improve my performance, it may be impressive to see how much the Top 10-20 are getting every Season these days.
It is disappointing but the bear market here continues as we look for some footing to continue onwards. As many things in economic and financial markets, corrections will exaggerate to one side so we may still be in for a rough ride as other markets stagnate as well. I continue to keep my head down and focus on building as this could get interesting very quickly given how the ecosystem has correction mechanics in place that will help if we are able to get player growth once again.
