From the very start, I adopted a strategy of using separate accounts for assets and gameplay to add an extra layer of security. In the crypto world, being extra careful is critical, and this approach has given me peace of mind. Splinterlands has done an excellent job in building inherent security features, such as locking assets, which adds another layer of protection. However, given the long history and value of my main account, which has been active for nearly six years, I’ve been hesitant to move assets between accounts.
Achieving the Magister title was a long-term goal that required dedication and strategic planning. Accumulating Research Points and maintaining a place on the leaderboards was no small feat. It was gratifying to finally reach this milestone, but the lack of immediate utility due to my account setup has been somewhat disappointing. The deployment from the team was great but I think they have not considered how many of us use our Hive accounts for security.
One of my hopes for the future of Splinterlands is that the development team introduces more flexibility for long-time landholders. Given the little progress in utility for land thus far, adding features that allow easier management of assets across accounts would be greatly beneficial. This could help players like me who have opted for additional security measures without sacrificing the benefits of their achievements.
Despite the current limitations, I am proud of my journey in Splinterlands. Reaching the Magister title is a testament to my commitment and passion for the game. I look forward to the day when these accomplishments can be fully leveraged, and I remain optimistic about the continued evolution of the game. I love seeing the badge like emblems on the leaderboards although I wish I could use mine.
Achieving the Magister Prefix Title in Splinterlands is a significant milestone in my journey within the ecosystem. While the current setup of my accounts has limited the utility of this achievement, I remain hopeful that future updates will bring more flexibility and benefits to long-time players and landholders. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy the game and the sense of accomplishment that comes with reaching such goals.
