Splinterlands - Season 130 Wrap Up!

Hello Splinterfans!

Season 130 has come to an end and it was the first season completed with the changes to ranked play. Therefore I am quite interested to see how it has turned out compared to previous seasons and make a judgement of the results.

Compared to last season, my earnings were much better. I got to Silver I in modern with a nice win ratio that is reminiscent of the olden days. Plus a cool win streak of 8. However, compared to my alt account that has only level 1 cards, my rating is much lower and it easily got into gold. Did I hit a brick wall?

My bot played in wild and reached Champion III for the first time. This means that this season I will start to earn champion chests which is pretty cool.

The end of season rewards were pretty bad compared to last season where I got $12 thanks to an SPS bonanza! No such luck this time. However, $4,65 is still ok in the grand scheme of things.

However, where things got really interesting was with my full season rewards! I was quite blown away that I had earned over $36, which must be a new record for me. My earnings per chest more than doubled to $0,28 which is pretty amazing and I earned the same number of diamond chests as last season too!

My staked SPS has increased to 77 491 (76 192). The rewards were much improved thanks to increased earnings.

Finally some decent earnings from ranked rewards, I would say the new changes are pretty good on the SPS front so far and my win ratio is also improved. Hopefully I can get back into gold this season, its a long season, so we will see.

I was also making a few important upgrades to my deck this season, buying a few cards when they came on offer. There are still a few on my hit list, but they are pretty sticky in price so far.

Chaos Knight, Captain's Ghost, Camilla Sungazer were bought or upgraded and joined my upgrades from last season Unicorn Mustang and Lord Arianthus.

In my brawls, I lost a pretty competitive battle against @libertycrypto27 and he won with two great cards that I am still to add to my collection from Riftwatchers, Agor Longtail and Oshuur Constantia. Both really great cards in the dragon deck. It would be very tough to overcome them, but it has inspired me to add them to my want list now. I do like to read his posts and he has very skillfully built his deck to be very competitive. Great job!

How was your season?

That's all for this update, thanks for reading.
