My Plans on Loot Chests

In Splinterlands updated white paper we can refer to tables to determine what opportunities we have when earning end of season loot chests. The first chart breaks out what players can earn per league. Then the quantities of chests also gets assigned based on the rarity of the chest.

The difference between minor and major are less than five chests between all ranks. Meanwhile ultimate chests are far few than both of the former. Then there is the percentage drop per chest.

The odds of pulling a card from all three chests are the same based on the stats sheet! To me getting cards are my primary goal. Therefore it will give me better odds to get the most amount of chests at end of season. On the flip side the higher rarity chests if card is pulled odds of pulling a high rarity card increases. The chances seem to be significant between minor and ultimate but know that I am getting about 75% less in chests if I go with ultimate.

As this upcoming end of season will be the first in many months if not years since we get reward chests. It will be interesting to see what players earn. In conclusion I am focusing on collecting as much cards as I can. The odds to pull rare cards will be lower with the increase in minor chests but accumulating common cards in large quantities is very much more attractive.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!
