Also, new combo!

Damnit! I was supposed to rise to silver yesterday in Splinterlands. My goal is tapping silver daily rewards every single day, yet I was stopped because I didn't want to spend my DEC on big bronze level cards this soon. That is absolutely stupid. I want those silver III rewards. Today, I'm definitely climbing up, though still trying to avoid renting a Scarred Llama Mage. This is what I got:

I'm using Obsidian for my summoner, so it makes sense I get a Magi of the Forest. Epona was cheap enough to warrant a rental, because it just provides too many benefits for a single mana. It's no wonder it's used so often in top tier battles. Still, I don't have that much of a chance when I'm not using Earth, so I really have to make it count.

All of these cards work on their own and get greatly boosted by Obsidian. I'm surely going to wreck people with teams like:

I don't have to be good at the game. I want to make money and have fun. I'm not squeezing every cent out of my cards by playing like a champion, but I'm looting chests within a reasonable time frame. And that's what matters to me! Also, I just figured out a brand new combo: backlining Mycelic Subspawn and Spirit Hoarder.
