Hi, Hive! I like to challenge myself and decided to start this week by taking part in the new Share Youre Battle Challenge from the Splinterlands team, especially since the hero of the week is the excellent new melee Chaos Legion's monster, Deeplurker.
His 6 mana cost was fully justified by his excellent speed, attack, and ability to pounce on the weakest enemy monsters, so I've been using him quite often, with two of these combos in the last couple days that brought me victory.
The first one was a combination of Deeplurker and Daria Dragonscale, which increases the attack, and the tank was Spineback Turtle, which has Thorns, which returns damage to the enemy.
A very easy win.
The second combo gave Deeplurker an auxiliary role, so I went with this lineup:
- Alric Stormbringer summoner, for increased magical attacks;
- Sea Monster in the first position with a powerful attack, great health, and the ability to heal;
- Torrenf Fiend in case the opponent will use attack cards on weak monsters and gain a head start;
- Deplurker for attacking the enemy's rear;
- Djinn Oshannus, reinforced with a summoner, is my main ranged fighter;
- Completing the combo is Halfing Alchemist, for weakening the enemy tank's melee attacks.
My opponent staked on magical attacks, and his main card was Kron The Undying, also boosted with Obsidian summoner, and he even managed to destroy my Djinn Oshannus, but Deeplurker did a great job destroying my opponent's shields and gave Sea Monster the time he needed to deal with Kron.
