Woo Blast and melee can attack from anywhere its time for a bunch of high damage melee units so maximize the blast damage i can deal.
Position: SummonerTarsa chosen for its +1 Melee Damage and + 1 HP, since the ruleset allow melee units to attack from anywhere more damage is always welcomed and with the blast rule more damage means more blast damage and having me hp is always good.
Position: Main Tank
Grum Flameblade chosen for its high damage, shield and health values and when it kills it becomes faster, hits harder and gains 1 hp and armor makes it an all round great unit to use with the blast ruleset it becomes stronger faster.
Also comes with the void armor ability making magic attacks hit the armor before hitting the health which makes it better.
Position: Sub Tank
Tusk The Wide used for its void ability and high hp, mainly used to reduce the blast magic damage if any since magic is quite strong in the blast matches since it bypasses armor.
Position: Star of the challenge
Radiated Brute would have done better if it was at level 4 since it would have gained 1 extra damage but with the summoner's buff it will have 3 damage which is good enough for this battle since its being protected by the units in front it will be able to do some damage and the ruleset allows melee units to attack from anywhere
Position: Melee DamageCharlok Minotaur chosen since its can't miss with its true aim, has a pretty high attack value at 3 , 4 after the buff and since it can't miss even if they play units with high speed or dodge it would still hit them and cause the blast damage to trigger.
Position: Melee Damage/ DebufferMolten Ogre a high damage unit with high health but most importantly has the demoralized ability which reduces the melee attack of the opponent team by 1, great for the ruleset since blast depends on high damage values for more effect.
The last unit on this lineup, to be honest did not noticed that the molten ogre had demoralize ability as well or i would have swap this unit to another that does more damage since the same ability does not stack but anyway chosen for the demoralize ability.
Now on to the Battle
Luckily placed that Tusk The Wide in the subtank slot since it reduced the amount of magic blast damage taken, they play a pretty balance setup where they have a bit of all damage types maybe which reduces the effectiveness of my demoralize effect.
that axemaster's double strike does quite a bit of damage.
my team does well since all their base attacks are pretty high which makes the damage after the buff better and they did not have any demoralize units to reduce the damage of my team which allowed the team to output massive blast damage procs.
Round 2 & Beyond
their downfall was those range units since once their front few magic and melee units fall due to both normal damage and blast damage they would be forced to the front and be unable to attack which leads to an easy clean up for my team.
This match could have gone differently if they ran a water melee team with kelya frendul as their summoner and a demented shark as their buffer or ran a full magic team with to take advantage of their summoner ability.
I could have brought a stronger attack with the disintegrator having a dupe ability with the molten ogre, first time i used the molten ogre after buying it so did not look at its ability well but it turnout fine so i guess its ok.
Radiated Brute was not used to its full ability in this match I think a lower mana match would suit it better, its a pretty good card to use if you do not have much cost since it would do 3 damage after the buff and 4 damage if its level 4.
