What’s up, everyone? It’s me, @intishar, once again. I hope everyone is well and good and enjoying the battles of Splinterlands. Playing battles with opponents is always interesting to me. I think playing a game against bots is boring because bots never change their strategy and we can read the strategy of bot after playing for a while. But when we play against humans, the change of strategy is something that makes it more interesting. When there is a chance to play battles with a mind that thinks similarly to me, it makes me excited.
I always enjoy battles when those battles play using same Archon from both sides and it allows me to understand better about my strategy. I can understand if my strategy is good or if it needs to be improved. If opponents win the battle, it means opponents strategy is better than mine and I can learn from my opponent. That’s my way of learning and improving my battle strategies. Today I played a battle using the “Marlai Singariel” Archon and the level of it was 2 means same as me. Let’s share about the interesting battle.
The mana cap of the battle was 37, and the ruleset was “Dragon Breath” and “No pain No gain”. Because of those rulesets I changed my regular strategy and tried to spread my attack to different unites as it gives advantages for the rules. The first card was “Asel Alagosdil”. This card was selected for the ability for divine shield. It allows other cards to play from behind and gives more opportunities.
The second one was “Great Bear Druid”. It’s one of my favorite cards when I choose water elements. In fact, I use it as my first card most of the time. With the Archon of “Marlai Singariel” the magic power of it becomes 2 and it have a mele attack power. This one was in the second position for good health with good attack power. I didn’t want my 3rd card to be attacked soon.
In the third place “Saltwater Mage” were the suitable ones. Health of it was 5 but with the “Marlai Singariel” the magic attack power increases to 3 and I kept it in the middle for protecting from both sides as it was the only card that attack the opponent’s units/cards; it stays in the last position while other cards attack the card in the first position.
In the 4th or last position, I used “Mystic Scaleweaver”. It has 7 health and was good enough to survive even if it was attacked by the opponent’s units. When I used it with “Marlai Singariel” Archon, it has 3 magic attack power and it’s enough to give maximum damage to the opponent’s unit.
Card placements were organized in such a way that could attack the opponents from both side while my opponents attack from the front side and I won the battle with just losing 2 cards, and naturally Victory came to my side. You can watch the battle. Here is the battle link.
