Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Quora Towershead made me dirty with the Amplify ability Ruleset

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "UP TO ELEVEN" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, All units have the Amplify ability. Use Thorns, Return Fire, and Magic Reflect to ensure your opponent suffers I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze league. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Summoner:

I chose the MYLOR CRAWLING summoner. It was a 18-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Mylor Crawling summoner so my opponent's monsters that attack me by melee will have the thorns effect damages and since this ruleset involves only melee, it is a good option. My team lineup was made up of the following; failed summoner, fungus fiend, fungus flinger, and Kron the Undying monsters. I sent one martyr monster and so it can increase all stats of Kron after its death.

1st Position:

Failed Summoner, this card has the magic reflect ability so any monster that attacks it by magic will also be inflicted with damage. It is a 2-mana monster with a speed of 2, 0 damage attack, and 4 health with 0 armor protection.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining the thorns effect. My opponent's lineup was made up of two monsters including the Quora Towershead monster in the first position, followed by the halfling alchemist.

In the first round, the Quora Towershead monster with the highest speed among all monsters attacked first with the magic attack followed by the melee attack and it was able to eliminate my failed summoner monster at the start. It then increased in all stats after eliminating my monster. But then the thorns effect also did damage to the Quora monster. Kron the undying monster attacked with its magic and caused 3 damage to Quora, after which fungus flinger and fungus fiend monsters also attacked the Quora monster. Halfling alchemist attacked me with its range. At the end of this round, my failed summoner monster was eliminated.

Round 2:

In this round, as usual, Quora attacked first and eliminated both fungus fiend and fungus flinger monsters in my lineup where I lost hope in winning that battle. It then increased in stats twice due to the Bloodlust ability it possesses.

At the end of the round, two of my monsters were eliminated and I was left with only Kron the Undying monster. I didn't have any hope to win that battle. Halfling alchemist attacked and reduced the attack effect of Kron from four to two.

Round 3:

In this round, the Quora Towershead monster did not waste much time, with its attacks from both the magic and melee damage, it was able to eliminate my Kron the Undying monster in a go.

It got damaged from the thorns effect after eliminating the Kron the Undying monster though, but to no avail.

This was how my battle went and my opponent won it with ease. I think the selection of my opponent especially including the Quora Towershead monster which has the bloodlust effect helped him to win this battle.

Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
