Not much time left for the weekly challenge. I meant to post a few days back but I was in Silver League and the match up battles and rules were not suit for Pelacor Arbalest. Now, I dropped to Bronze League, easier to play with it.

Focused on ranged attack, General Sloan provides additional range attack to all friendly monsters at 4 mana cost. Playing with L2 that I rented in.
Shieldbearer is a must use for playing with low health but high attacking Pelacor Arbalest for it is going to protect the rest of the team at all cost. I rented in a gold L2 card.
As I had left with extra mana, I placed a Gargoya Scrapper. I bought a gold foil card some times back. As I was using L2 summoner, I was able to use a L3 card with Void ability.
When the Shieldbearer is protecting the rest of the card, the other cards should do something in return right? Yes, Venari Crystalsmith's priority is to keep Shieldbearer stay alive by healing it.
It is a bit slow with 2 speed and very weak with 2 health for a 6 mana cost card. But it comes with own advantage, total of 4 range attacks by having 2 attacks 2 times. The 1st strike is for removing shield if enemy has it and 2nd strike to make damage. With the boost of General Sloan, it become 3x2 and become even more dangerous. All you need to do is protect it at all cost.
At 2 mana cost, you'd get a slow and weak archer with 1 range attack. But General Sloan would make it having 2 attacks.
Another typical weak and slow 2 mana cost monster. But with General Sloan, you'd become more dangerous. Last 2 monsters give 4 range attacks in combination at 4 mana cost.
The battle was 27 mana cap with Equal Opportunity Rule, meant all monsters have Opportunity ability. My opponent also used Life splinter with Shieldbearer and Pelacor Arbalest. But the difference was the summoner. Healer wasn't also included instead Truthspeaker was used to provide more protection. Time Mage was included to slow down my cards, but Life monsters are relatively slow.
Let's see who's team was better.
Although all monsters had Opportunity ability, all had to target to Taunting card the Shieldbearer. Without healing card, enemy Shieldbearer was reduced to 2 hit points even with extra shield. Mine still had 6 hit points. Clearly healing and extra attacks made the difference.
Enemy Shieldbearer was knocked out in the beginning of round 2. As the Taunting card was removed, my monsters started to attack the weakest ones and first casualty was Truthspeaker and once it was out, all the protections were gone and more cards were out after that.
My Shieldbearer was out in round-3 but it was too late for the enemy. Enemy Pelacor Arbalest was targeted and knocked out since it is the weakest one. Enemy was left with Time Mage.
If the attacks were missed, the battle would have finished in round-3, not it dragged on to round-4 and done.
