Splinterlands Weekly Challenge! FLYING SQUID

Let's start a new season with Weekly Challenge post.

This week challenge is FLYING SQUID, which is a water card with reach ability that can also attack from the second position.

Kelya Frendul, provides additional melee speed and shield at the mana cost of 4. Shield and speed are good against melee and range attacks.

At 7 mana cost, the card seems to be a bit expensive for 3 melee attacks, 2 shield and 5 hit points. But the speed of 4 and *dodge* ability makes it very hard to hit. It become even faster with the help of summoner.

FLYING SQUID cost 7 mana and it is pretty expensive. But the speed, that attack and the ability to attack from the second position makes it worthy especially for high mana capped battles.

Deeplurker is one of the high attacking opportunity monster. Sometimes, it may be overkill for very low health monsters, not many monster it targets last long. Still useful when it become the tank.

As 1 mana left, I used Hardy Stonefish and placed at the end for the sneakers and opportunity monsters.

_{Nothing much happened in round 1.}

_{Both of us lost our tanks in round-2. Enemy healer is almost useless.}

_{Both opportunity monsters took time to tackle low cost cards.}

_{As enemy healer was targeted, it wasn't very useful.}

_{Although rounds were short, high hit points means we need more rounds to conclude the battle. The result was official in round-8}

I didn't have enough time to get the focus chest, and there was a server maintenance last night. So.. no chest to open.

After server maintenance, there's new type of Rank battles, Modern and Wild. Let's see which one is most suitable for me.
