_{With the clock ticking, the time has arrived on the 2nd of February. I decided to compete in this week's battle challenge. For various reasons, there was no battle last week. This week, I did my best to prepare and it was a success.}

For splinterlands competitors, use the dragon in the weekly battle challenge. You can use a dragon splinter as well as a dragon card. The rules for Battle are that you can play with Dragon as you like.

I do not have dragon monster cards. Therefore, DRAKE OF ARNAK with dragon splinter was used. DRAKE OF ARNAK consumes 4 mana and adds one Armor (shield) to your attacking monster. Therefore, your monster will be able to withstand the enemy attack once.

_{The enemy I encountered was @recruit-192596, whose used an earth summoner (WIZARD OF EASTWOOD). Its Summoner cards have the ability to destroy 2 monster armor. So my monsters did not get armor in battle. But he fought his best and I was won in round 6.}

To follow the Battle Rule, the DRAKE OF ARNAK with a dragon splinter was used, and the monster attackers used earth splinter cards. The table below shows the lineup I used to win this battle.

DRAKE OF ARNAK was chosen because it includes a Dragon splinter. Its ability is to add an armor shield to your monster. This makes your monster stronger. I used 4 mana for this Summoner.

The reason Cursed Windeku was chosen was because of his excellent ability. Cursed Windeku has Thorns ability, which responds to melee attacks by an enemy monster. When the enemy attacks with 3 melee attacks, it triggers 3 counter-attacks. That ability is crucial to winning a battle.
