Este mantenimiento consta de dos partes, la primera es el cambio de cueros y la segunda es la limpieza de la alfombra, para lo primero tuve que usar aceite, un trapo y el afinador de cueros propio para afinar este mágico instrumento que tanto me apasiona.
Como se observa en la imagen, decidí empezar por el redoblante, el cual desde el momento de la ruptura del cuero decidí quitarlos, acto seguido, para reemplazarlo bastó con quitar el aro que permite la tensión y colocar el repuesto, a su vez volví a colocar el aro pero y comenzar a tensar.
Y para ello tuve que colocar tensor por tensor no sin antes poner un poco de aceite en cada tonillo como se ve en la imagen, esto con 2 motivos, el primero sirve para evitar el óxido dentro y fuera del tensor interno que va unido a la madera del ton. Hay que tener algo de pericia ya que en lo personal cuento las vueltas del tornillo, esto con el fin de dar una tensión pareja, en el mercado se puede conseguir aparatos que indican la tensión del cuero pero yo carezco del mismo así que lo hago de esa manera tratando así de dar una tensión pareja y poder tener una afinación óptima.
Luego de ajustar el cuero y parche del redoblante hice el mismo procedimiento con el primer ton y el granadero que es el tambor más grande, culminada esta tarea me di el trabajo de lavar la alfombra.
En la cual use un rastrillo de goma que sirve para despejar agua del piso, el cual me sirve para sacar el agua, además de esto también me valí de desengrasante de platos líquido y agua, comencé humedeciendo la alfombra para posteriormente colocar una mezcla de agua con desengrasante, esperaba lapsos de 10 minutos para echar agua y tratar de remover toda la tierra posible, esto lo repetí varias veces hasta que tomó una apariencia impecable y el agua comenzara a salir limpia, terminado esto deje secar y escurrir en un tendedero.
Cuando secó limpié la zona donde se encuentra ubicada la batería y limpie el piso para después comenzar a armar, poniendo en primero lugar la alfombra, después el bombo de la batería e ir armando su partes, no coloqué el pedal de bombo que estaba en un inicio, en su lugar ubiqué un doble pedal, ya que quería entrenar con este.
Ensamblado todo el instrumento procedí a terminar de afinar, y este fue el resultado.

Greetings communityof Hive Diy I hope that you are well, I have taken advantage of the moment to bring before you the affection that I have given to my battery since I needed a change of leathers, since some broke (case of the redoblante) and the rest were expired, this instrument I use it for my daily practices and of rehearsal, reason for which always stays in the same place and had time that did not give him a good maintenance.
In this case I replaced the leathers with others that I already had, in spite of being used they still have useful life left. This model as such uses leather numbers 12, 13, 14, and 16, however here I don't use the second ton.
This maintenance consists of two parts, the first one is the change of leathers and the second one is the cleaning of the carpet, for the first one I had to use oil, a cloth and my own leather tuner to tune this magical instrument that I love so much.
As seen in the picture, I decided to start with the redoblante, which from the moment of the rupture of the leather I decided to remove them, then to replace it was enough to remove the ring that allows the tension and place the spare, in turn I put the ring back but and begin to tighten.
And for this I had to place tensioner by tensioner not without first putting a little oil on each tonillo as seen in the picture, this with 2 reasons, the first serves to prevent rust inside and outside the internal tensioner that is attached to the wood of the ton. It is necessary to have some expertise since personally I count the turns of the screw, this in order to give an even tension, in the market you can get devices that indicate the tension of the leather but I lack the same so I do it that way trying to give an even tension and to be able to have an optimal tuning.
After adjusting the snare drum skin and drumhead I did the same procedure with the first ton and the grenadier which is the largest drum, after this task I took the job of washing the carpet.
In which I used a rubber rake that serves to clear water from the floor, which serves me to remove the water, in addition to this I also used liquid dishwasher degreaser and water, I started wetting the carpet and then put a mixture of water with degreaser, I waited 10 minutes to pour water and try to remove as much dirt as possible, I repeated this several times until it took an impeccable appearance and the water began to come out clean, finished this let it dry and drain on a clothesline.
When it dried I cleaned the area where the drum set is located and cleaned the floor to then begin to assemble, putting in first place the carpet, then the bass drum of the drum set and to go assembling its parts, I did not place the bass drum pedal that was in a beginning, in its place I placed a double pedal, since I wanted to train with this one.
Assembled the whole instrument I proceeded to finish tuning, and this was the result.
