Fine stroll

Finally we had a proper long stroll, that part was missed A LOT! Not saying that roaming trough fields doesn't feel good, BUT city gives more action, movements and opportunities to capture good moments. Whenever you point your focus something pops out. Same time this is our first proper photo walk since we moved (first ever was in forest nearby, but that one comes on Friday).

Even tho I mentioned action and movements it is also challenging to find a stillness on busy streets, probably one of the reasons why city lake was our first destination choice.

Can't recall had I ever posted any photos from this place, which is currently pretty sleepy and occasionally visited looking nothing alike during summer days till the mid autumn. Athletes and dog owners are the most loyal ones no matters of season, thanks to running and cycling path which circles around the lake. The high forest on one side is ideal for picnics on hot days, while the other offers a full atmosphere such as restaurants and bars with deckchairs.

This lake and cycling path are also significant place to me.
Here, I broke my first bone ever.
Here, I was tempted for the first time in my life to strangle, to strangle person cause of which I fell of the bike.
Numerous of sunsets admired, and the most irritating mosquito bites given.

Plenty of memories, indeed.

Few stations bus ride and there we are walking up hill one of the prettiest streets and oldest streets, no photos from there cause most of magnificently impressive buildings were embassy's (not photo friendly).
Feet was alarming "walking up hills skill forgotten'', shamefully admitting I fell out of form and adjusted too much on flatness.

Occasionally move isn't all bad, except of the packing and organizing things - that's boring! Experiencing even the same place on and off can bring refreshment.

Can you tell that every place has it own scent, specific aroma in the breeze?

Last shots that for the day, dark already swallowed everything, horizon barely fights anymore.

Stroll lasted longer than planned, gear already packed and were heading to the nearest station hungry as hell, tired enough not even having strength to take a look at what we captured. Sleep was shorter and better than ever. I might start liking walking same as cycling.

Small chances someone will knock me down, bones safe activity!
