Hola a todos los amantes de las agujas! Hoy continuamos con el Halloweek Needle Challenge de la amiga @irenenavarroart que consiste en compartir diariamente un trabajo de Halloween hecho con agujas. Hoy voy a hacer una calavera tejida.

Hello to all needle lovers! Today we continue with the Halloweek Needle Challengefrom friend @irenenavarroart which consists in sharing daily a Halloween work made with needles. Today I am going to make a knitted skull.

-Para empezar a tejer la calavera, se tejen 14 cadenas y se unen con un punto deslizado.

-To start knitting the skull, knit 14 chains and join them with a slip stitch.

-Luego se hacen otras 14 cadenas, y se cierra con un punto deslizado. así tenemos los ojos de la calavera.

-Then make another 14 chains, and close with a slipped stitch, so we have the eyes of the skull.

-Después, dentro de los anillos hacemos 18 puntos bajos dentro de cada ojo y se cierra con un punto deslizado.

-Then, inside the rings we make 18 low stitches inside each eye and close with a slipped stitch.

-Se cuenta desde el centro de los ojos a la derecha 7 puntos y se tejen 14 puntos bajos, al terminar los 14 puntos se teje una cadena.

-Count from the center of the eyes to the right 7 stitches and knit 14 single crochet stitches, at the end of the 14 stitches knit a chain.

-Ahora se voltea el tejido, se salta el primer punto y se tejen puntos bajos, se salta el penúltimo puntos y se tejen las demás vueltas disminuyendo el segundo punto y el penúltimo de cada vuelta. Se tejen 4 vueltas.

-Now turn the fabric over, skip the first stitch and knit single crochet, skip the penultimate stitch and knit the remaining rows decreasing the second stitch and the penultimate stitch of each row. Knit 4 rows.

-Se voltea por la parte de abajo de los ojos y desde el centro de los ojos se cuentan 7 puntos, se introduce de nuevo la lana y se cierra con 1 punto deslizado.

-Turn over at the bottom of the eyes and count 7 stitches from the center of the eyes, insert the yarn again and close with 1 slipped stitch.

-Se tejen 4 puntos seguidos.

-Knit 4 stitches in a row.

-Se tejen 4 cadenetas al aire y saltamos 5 puntos en el sexto punto tejemos 1 punto bajo y se tejen 4 puntos bajos.

-We knit 4 chains in the air and skip 5 stitches, in the sixth stitch we knit 1 single crochet and knit 4 single crochets.

-Hacemos 1 cadena y damos vuelta al tejido y se tejen 12 puntos se tejen 4 puntos y al llegar a las cadenas que habíamos echo se tejen 4 puntos dentro de las cadenas y se tejen los últimos 4 puntos.

-We knit 1 chain and turn the fabric and knit 12 stitches, knit 4 stitches and when we reach the chains we have knit 4 stitches inside the chains and knit the last 4 stitches.

-Se gira el trabajo, saltamos el primer punto y tejemos en el siguiente.

-The work is turned, we skip the first stitch and knit in the next stitch.

-Tejemos 3 cadenas, nos saltamos el siguiente y hacemos 1 punto alto. y así terminamos la vuelta luego hacemos 1 cadena giramos el tejido y tejemos los 5 puntos que quedan.

-We knit 3 chains, skip the next chain and knit 1 double crochet, and so we finish the row, then we knit 1 chain, turn the fabric and knit the remaining 5 stitches.

y así terminamos nuestro trabajo.

and thus we finish our work.

Parece complicado pero fue muy fácil de tejer esta calavera. Me he divertido mucho haciendo este reto diario. Hasta la próxima.
