Hello to all needle lovers! Today we continue with the
Halloweek Needle Challenge from friend @irenenavarroart which consists in sharing daily a Halloween work made with needles. Today I'm going to make a knitted spider.
Woven spider
Materiales:
Lana color gris, aguja dependiendo del grosor de la lana, un imperdible pequeño y tijera.
Materials:
Gray wool, needle depending on the thickness of the wool, a small safety pin and scissors.
-Comenzamos con un anillo mágico tejiendo 6 puntos bajos al terminar cerramos el anillo con un punto deslizado.
-We start with a magic ring by knitting 6 single crochet stitches and close the ring with a slip stitch.
-La segunda vuelta se tejen 2 puntos bajos en cada punto al terminar la vuelta quedarán 12 puntos.
-In the second row, knit 2 single crochet stitches in each stitch at the end of the row there will be 12 stitches left.
-En la vuelta el 1 punto se teje un punto bajo se marca con el imperdible, para saber dónde empezamos, en el siguiente se hace 1 punto bajo y en el siguiente 2 puntos en el mismo punto. Así se teje toda la vuelta, al terminar quedarán 18 puntos. Se cierra con un punto deslizado.
-In the first row you knit a single crochet, mark it with the safety pin to know where we start, in the next row you knit 1 single crochet and in the next one you knit 2 stitches in the same stitch. This is how the whole round is knitted, at the end there will be 18 stitches left. Close with a slip stitch.
Para las patas:
-Al terminar las vueltas del cuerpo de la araña, empezamos a hacer las patas. Se empiezan tejiendo 9 cadenas, en esas cadenas se tejen puntos bajos y al terminar se cierra con un punto deslizado.
-At the end of the turns of the spider's body, we start making the legs. We start by knitting 9 chains, in those chains we knit single crochet and at the end we close with a slip stitch.
-Se tejen 13 cadenas para hacer otra pata y se hace repite el mismo procedimiento con las 4 patas de un lado. Al terminar, se hacen en cada punto, un punto bajo, se tejen 4 puntos y se empiezan las otras 4 patas del otro lado y así terminamos nuestro trabajo del día de hoy.
-Knit 13 chains to make another leg and repeat the same procedure with the 4 legs on one side. When finished, knit a single crochet in each stitch, knit 4 stitches and start the other 4 legs on the other side and thus we finish our work for today.
