Un dije es una alhaja o joya pequeña que colgamos en las cadenas o pulseras. Tiene un significado especial. En ocasiones los consideramos amuletos porque al llevarlo puesto nos da mucha suerte.
A charm is a small jewel that we hang on chains or bracelets. It has a special meaning. Sometimes we consider them as amulets because when we wear it, it gives us a lot of luck.

Materiales.
👜 Tela de lino blanca
👛 Agujas para bordar.
👜 Madejas y estambre.
👛 Tijeras.
👜 Tambor o bastidor pequeño.
👛 Hilo dorado.
👜 Pegamento.
👛 Monedas.
Materials.
👜 White linen fabric.
👛 Embroidery needles.
👜 Skeins and worsted.
👛 Scissors.
👜 Drum or small frame.
👛 Golden thread.
👜 Glue.
👛 Coins.
Procedimiento.
👝 Empecé seleccionando el diseño y el tamaño de la letra.
👝 Luego elegí el color del hilo.
👝 Entamboré la tela.
👝 Dibujé sobre la tela las letras iniciales de las hivers a quienes voy a regalar, el círculo a la medida de una moneda y otro círculo más grande para coser.
Procedure.
👝 I started by selecting the design and font size.
👝 Then I chose the thread color.
👝 I interfaced the fabric.
👝 I drew on the fabric the initial letters of the hivers to whom I am going to give, the circle to the size of a coin and another larger circle to sew.
👛 Para bordar empleé una puntada básica en todas las letras.
👛 Inicié el proceso de bordado introduciendo la aguja desde abajo de la tela.
👛 For embroidery I used a basic stitch on all the letters.
👛 I started the embroidery process by inserting the needle from underneath the fabric.
👜 Bordé todas las letras con su respectivo hilo y luego rematé por la parte de atrás de cada tela.
👜 Antes de bordar las letras realicé un bordado por todo la línea trazada en círculo.
👜 Separé cada una de las letras y procedí a montarlas sobre una moneda de Dos Bolívares.
👜 Cosi por todo el borde y templé el hilo, de esta forma quedó forrada la moneda.
👜 I embroidered all the letters with their respective thread and then finished off the back of each fabric.
👜 Before embroidering the letters I embroidered all over the line drawn in a circle.
👜 I separated each of the letters and proceeded to mount them on a Two Bolivar coin.
👜 I stitched all around the edge and tempered the thread, thus lining the coin.

Con este regalo quiero reconocer el desempeño de cada una.
I chose to make a pendant for @lauramica, @kattycrochet, @marytp20 and @crosheille because they represent for me a very valuable jewel, both in Hive and in this community their performance and treatment towards others has been very significant. @marytp20 has not posted here, but you can see excellent publications in her blog. With this gift I want to recognize the performance of each one of them.

@kattycrochet es un ser pleno de bondad, juiciosa y cautelosa. Sus palabras transmiten esperanza y paz. Escogí para su dije el color verde. 🙏 Me disculpo porque mientras forraba la moneda me di un pinchazo y sin querer manché la tela. 🤫
@kattycrochet is a being full of kindness, judicious and cautious. Her words convey hope and peace. I chose for her charm the color green. 🙏 I apologize because while lining the coin I gave myself a prick and inadvertently stained the fabric. 🤫
Las monedas que utilicé para hacer los dijes no están actualmente en circulación. Son de antigüos conos monetarios. Las encontré guardadas mientras hacía la limpieza y se me ocurrió usarlas en los dijes que voy a regalar. El tamaño que utilicé es el de la moneda de Dos Bolívares.
The coins I used to make the charms are not currently in circulation. They are from old monetary cones. I found them in storage while I was cleaning and I thought of using them in the charms I am going to give as a gift. The size I used is the size of the Dos Bolivares coin.

@lauramica para su dije elegí el color negro. Esta jovencita me ha cautivado. Dudé entre escoger el hilo rojo o el negro 🤔 porque al pensar en ella solo veía su gran sonrisa. Ella es todo un derroche de simpatía y buena vibra. Dinámica y divertida. Me decidí por el hilo negro porque la recuerdo siempre vestida de negro. Color que le luce mucho por cierto.
@lauramica for her pendant I chose the color black. This young girl has captivated me. I hesitated between choosing the red or black thread 🤔 because when I thought of her I only saw her big smile. She is all a waste of sympathy and good vibes. Dynamic and fun. I decided for the black thread because I remember her always dressed in black. A color that looks great on her by the way.
Me gusta mucho el proyecto que escogí porque con él puedo entregar presentes a muchas personas. Se hacen fácil, rápido y con escaso material. Además de sacar provecho de esas monedas que en su momento tuvieron algo de valor. Deseo que a mis queridas hivers amigas les guste el obsequio y decirles que por aquí se los tendré guardados para cuando sea posible entregárselos personalmente. Sigan siendo las extraordinarias personas que son y reciban de mí un sincero agradecimiento y abrazo fraterno. 🤗

I really like the project I chose because with it I can give presents to many people. They are easy, fast and with little material.
