Creí que no podría llegar al final de la semana especialmente porque la bruja tenía muchos accesorios y se llevó todo mi tiempo armándola.
Pero me siento orgulloasa de presentar mi proyecto final: El móvil de Halloween.
I thought I wouldn't be able to make it to the end of the week especially because the witch had so many accessories and took all my time putting it together.
But I am proud to present my final project: the Halloween mobile.
Materiales que utilicé: un palito plástico color negro, cuerda de fique, hilo negro y aguja. Las figuritas que presenté durante la semana.
Materials I used: a black plastic stick, fique string, black thread and needle. The figurines I presented during the week.
-Primero uní el muñeco vudú. Aproveché de clavarle los alfileres una vez, me encanta esta parte!
-First I attached the voodoo doll. I took the opportunity to stick the pins in it once, I love this part!
-Después, con hilo y aguja colgué del palito la araña en el otro extremo para equilibrar. La dejé un poco más larga que el muñeco.
-Then, with thread and needle I hung the spider on the other end of the stick for balance. I left it a little longer than the doll.
-Junto a la araña, colgué un poco más abajo la calabaza. Esto con el fin de que se vean todas las figuras completas.
-Next to the spider, I hung the pumpkin a little lower. This is so that all the complete figures can be seen.
-Y por último la estrella de este proyecto, la bruja. A la que subí a su escoba y colgué entre el muñeco de vudú y la calabaza.
-And finally the star of this project, the witch. I put her on her broom and hung her between the voodoo doll and the pumpkin.
-Finalmente, hice unos nudos a la cuerda en los extremos del palito y lo colgué del techo. Quedó muy lindo mi móvil.
-Finally, I tied a few knots in the rope at the ends of the stick and hung it from the ceiling. My mobile turned out very nice.
Fue una semana muy díficil, es qué, por muy extraño que parezca cortar y coser fueron dos de las cosas que no pude aprender a hacer con la mano izquierda, entonces se me cansa mucho el brazo derecho haciendo proyectos de costura, pero amé hacer esta bruja, ame su sombrero y sus zapatos. Me divertí mucho y agradezco a todos los que participaron en el reto y felicito a @irenenavarroart por este éxito en su convocatoria y por los trabajos tan bellos que nos impulsó a hacer. Les mando un abrazo infinito. Me siento feliz de ser parte de este grupo de amantes de las agujas. Hasta el próximo reto😘.
It was a very difficult week, because, as strange as it may seem, cutting and sewing were two of the things I couldn't learn to do with my left hand, so my right arm gets very tired doing sewing projects, but I loved making this witch, I loved her hat and her shoes. I had a lot of fun and I thank everyone who participated in the challenge and I congratulate @irenenavarroart for this success in her call and for the beautiful work she encouraged us to do.
