Contest in the amazing nature free topic community with admin @hive-127788. I am very happy with this week's topic because it gives me the freedom to choose my own topic that I will post.I will post about the flowers of tropical plants from my country, namely Indonesia. I will also include the names and the benefits of these flowers in everyday life. The flowers that I choose are the flowers that are around me and not all the flowers that I post.
1.Jasmine flower (Jasminum sambac)
The first flower that will be posted is Indonesia's national flower, namely jasmine. This bright white flower has a tiny shape and a very fragrant aroma. Because of that jasmine flowers are commonly used in traditional Javanese ceremonies such as the flower bath process and also as a decoration for the bride's bun. Jasmine flowers are also commonly used as perfume, no wonder this flower has a fairly expensive price, among jasmine flower farmers, the price of jasmine flowers per kilo ranges from Rp.250,000-Rp.300,000 (USD.17-USD.22).
2.Ylang flower (Cananga odorata)
Indonesian ylang flowers also have a very fragrant aroma, because of that ylang flowers are also often used as traditional ceremonies that smell sacred. Traditional people still believe that ylang flowers can be used as a medium to summon spirits. Ylang flower is also widely used as massage oil and hair oil, namely by distillation / distillation.
3.vanda orchid (Vanda tessellata)
Vanda orchid flower is one of the flowers that has a very beautiful flower crown color. But Vanda orchid flowers generally do not have a fragrant aroma. Usually Vanda orchids are used as fresh ornamental plants or as flowers to decorate vases at tombs.
4.Plate glass flower(Gardenia jasminoides)
Plate glass flowers or jasmine fences are commonly used as living fences for the yard. This flower has a shape like a jasmine flower but this flower does not have a jasmine scent. This flower is usually used as a flower sow for funerals.
5.Princess earrings flower (Wrightia religiosa)
Princess earrings flower has a very fragrant aroma and a tiny flower shape. This flower is commonly used as an ornamental plant because of its very fragrant aroma. Usually, many princess earrings are planted in pots.
6.Nusa indah flowers (Mussaenda philippina)
Nusa Indah flowers are one of the flowers that have clusters of beautiful flower crowns, therefore beautiful Nusa flowers are usually used as ornamental plants in the yard. Nusa Indah plants have various colors such as pink, red, yellow and cream.
7.Asoka flowers (Ixora chinesis)
The unique shape of the flowers like needles and clusters makes Soka flowers a flower that is widely used as a living fence in the yard of the house and office. Asoka flowers have many colors which are generally bright in color such as red, yellow, pink and orange.
8.Cambodian flowers (Plumeria)
Cambodian flowers are one of the ornamental flowers that are often used as bonsai. The beautiful flower shape and bright color make this Cambodian ornamental plant widely used as a collection of ornamental plants by plant hobbyists
9.Red Dadap flowers (Erythrina variegata)
Red Dadap flowers have a unique shape and attractive color. The lush Dadap tree is usually used as a shade plant on roadsides and yards. When in bloom, Dadap flowers will be seen filling the tree branches. Dadap flowers have various color variations such as yellow, red and white.
10.Lilies flowers (Lilium lancifolium)
Lilies are one of the flowers that have large shapes and attractive colors, lilies are usually planted in pots or in the yard as ornamental plants. There are many color variations of lilies such as white, red, orange and yellow
