Good morning friends and happy new year.
Some days ago, I stumbled on a post by @mypathtofire and I was poised to appreciate the good job the @ecency team have been doing.
Moreso, this afternoon, I went through this post where @ecency had highlighted the achievements of the community while 2023 lasted.
I saw that they worked round the clock throughout the year providing solutions for concerns raised by her teaming ecency community.
Here is a brief highlight of all the achievements of ecency in 2023;
- January :- Making the hive engine tokens available on the ecency app and makin the app ore see friendly. Post
- February :- Addition of resource credit (RC) detailed page to help users stay informed about the status of their RC delegations including the ability to delegate RC. Post & Post
- March, April May :- The Desks and Waves page were introduced.
The Desks page helps users stay in touch with their favorite authors, to interact with them in a super easy way. While the Waves page is a "tweeter curner" in ecency where people post short contents and interact with others. Post - June :- Improvement of the Mobile app and wallet page. Post
- July :- Introduction of Onboard a friend. This release helps users asssist their friends to sign up on ecency. Post * August :- In August , ecency partnered with 3speak, to release a gateway through which users can upload and manage videos in ecency. Post
- September** :- Waves was included in the ecency app. Again, in this release, users can swap their hive to HBD and from HBD to hive seamlessly. post
- October :- Upgrade of the ecency app. After the ecency App was upgraded in October, users who have enough RC (resource credit) can use their Resources credit to bring their friends on board. You can use the account credit to onboard a new user. Post
- November :- Website upgrade. This upgrade was very significant that it removed all the Bootstrap library and replaced them with Tailwind library which is more compact and efficient. Post
- December :- A visit to the Annual Advent Calendar and award of ecency points and hive to users in appreciation. Post
I also wish to cease this opportunities to commend the good job your team does at ecency waves, especially the regular curation of user's conversations and the weekly contest, (where top ten on the waves leaders board are send #hive gifts as appreciation). This is a very welcomed development as it fosters a competitive spirit amongst users who try to contribute to the button line wuth every wave tweet.
I personally benefited from this many times last year, I hope to rejoin my friends there, so as to stand a chance to partake from those amazing prices this year.
I must commend the likes of @melinda010100 who is always available to attend to our needs and answer our questions. Worthy of mention is; @palomap3, who have been of great help to me and many others, thank you!
Moreso, the ecency App is the only app that send prompt notifications of all the goings-on around hive blockchain, with an "all round" user friendly interface. I must commend the ecency team for everything they did last year and encourage them to do even more this year.
Worthy of commendation is the distribution of curratial rewards to all stake holders on daily basis. This level of transparency is topnotch and as a result, I have voted for your proposal, followed your curratial trail and also delegated 100 HP as my little support to the community, because I know it will be put to good use.
Finally, I wish to encourage the ecency team to continue to carry the community along and bringing them to speed technically.
I will continue to give my support to this community especially by posting through the ecency fronted more often and by engaging friends on waves 🌊.
