LOH #205- Leaving Footprints That Live For Long

Life is a complicated journey. The twist, the unexpected turns, times we thought it would work out well for us, but somehow life took unexpected turns we never understood. Sometimes this twist leads us to make unpredictable choices.

And in life, each step or decision we take today is an imprint for tomorrow. Somehow, they might come hunting us in a negative or positive way. That's why it's advisable that everyone should walk through life with this idea to leave nice imprints that we will cherish for life. They're what generations to come will remember our legacy.

So for me, if I ever leave this world,I want to leave knowing that I left footprints that show how I lived my life to the fullest. So many people have gone with this regret to the grave. And I see this as the worst kind of regret anyone will have in life. So before I'm gone, I'd like to do that which I love; I want to do everything on my bucket list, like travel the world and visit cities, fall in love, and live a life filled with beautiful colours other than just black and white. So It will be known that I fulfilled all I wanted to do in life.

Apart from enjoying life to the fullest, If I ever leave this life tomorrow, I also want my life to speak of genuine unconditional love. I don't just want to leave my footprints showing that I walked alone. I want it to show that In one way or another, I carried everyone that I met on this journey called life along, and in the end I left behind beautiful memories that people will look back on and smile, knowing I touched their lives with love at a time when their lives lacked colour.

Life has never been easy but only the resilient keep moving. So if I'm gone one day I want my footprints in life to show how successful I was. Strong and brave, facing the storms of life with so much courage and showing no weakness whatsoever. Being persistent in what I want and what I believe in. I want my resilient life to motivate people of how many times they'll fall yet they get back on their feet.

I just want, in the end, if people were to look back on the kind of life I lived, they'll be motivated and learn a thing or two. I don't just want my life to leave mere footprints in the sands of time but print there loud enough to inspire and motivate generations to come.

This is my entry to the LOH Contest
