Hello Hive Friends!!!
How are you today? Hope you are fine and doing good. We have healthy weather today and I thank God he gives this healthy day for me to write my blog. I'm inspired to participate and make my entry to this contest #110 of Ladies of Hive.
To live in this world is a great challenge to one us and if we have something that overcomes even a simple thing, we consider it as achievement and this made me happy.
Allow me to share some of my self-discovery that leads to my achievements and brings it happiness to myself.
School events were happening in school. These were my students who were the participants of Mr. and Ms. United Nations. They looked so lovely and I am happy for them as they eagerly participated in the contest.
Before the event started, this was the behind scene preparation. I do the makeup and beautifying of my students, this is one of my self-discovery.
First, I put some liquid foundation on her face and made sure to apply them evenly, and after I apply an eyeshadow which is attractive and fitted to her skin tone. Then I put on her lipstick and that's it. Self-discovery brings happiness to my student and me as well.
Then the event started, and they looked awesome as they walk on stage. I was so very proud then as their adviser/teacher. They introduced themselves and the audience clapped their hands for they have a nice self introduction. Unfortunately, they did not get the title but they did their best. The learning that I had done was to be like a mother to them. I should support them all the way and that was what I did.
The second event in school was the Mr. and Mrs. Biotiful. These were my participants. Their costumes were made of recycled materials. Old newspapers were the main materials used in their costume.
They asked my opinion on what to make on their costume and I said, We can use old newspapers and roll them like a cone and paste them together.
My students were eagerly trying to fit the costume as they watched it. How beautiful the costume was?
The event started and as usual, the contestants will walk on stage and they introduced theirselves after.
After the selection of Magic 5, they proceed to the next round the Question and Answer portion. I was inspired by the message of my students when he was the one who was being asked before he answered the question this was his introduction. " I would like to take this opportunity to thank my adviser for their undying support and her open hand to make my costume successful. When he uttered these words, I was like I was in a cloud, I never expected he will say that thing.
He was crowned as Mr. Biotiful and this was another achievements that brought happiness to the class😀.
As we live, we learnt and may encountered problems and this will test ourselves how strong we are. There were problems that we need our families, friends, and relatives to turned to but one thing is for sure, strong faith and love for God is one of the best solution.
My family is bonded with love and we put God at the center of everything. The greatest achievements that I had done with my family this year was to build a STRONG FAITH and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for God.
The Happiness of everybody around us is one of my Greatest achievement, to see them happy I can't ask for anything more.
