Goodmorning my dear readers.
The day has finally arrived i been waiting for. Early Friday morning everything was packed and locked and loaded. 𝑵ine am and the long journey begins. It was a seven hour drive to roodepoort gauteng. It was my son and his girlfriend's babyshower.

And im so excited to become a grandma for the second time. she's pregnant with a little boy.

The baby's name is going to be Kevin named after his father. The drive was fun but there was an heat wave the hole week with very high temperatures with windows open and ice cold water we made it. But there was a little bit of time to do some site seeing as well. In randfontein when we filled up the car with fuel i took some pictures to show your guys but it not near by photos because it was locked because of all the vandalism in south africa people these days don't care about history. so i tried to get nice pictures there is a memorial stone as well.

The memorial place is for people how had fight in world war 1 and two the memorial was dedicated to the soldiers how had lost there lives. It is called Caprivi Bomgat. I didn't know all the history about this place so i decided to do a little research on Google.

The babyshower was planned for a long time and i was very excited to see my son an his girlfriend again. It was also a day to meet the new family. Saturday morning started off with a cup of coffee and one by one started to get ready for the day. Twelve o'clock we went to the venue it was a outdoor event.

it was a calm atmosphere near a stream of water. when whe arrived i had to make the balloon arch with the help of a few others it didn't took us long and i must say it was my first time and it looked beautiful. The theme was blue and and bears.

We can bearly wait. 🐻 Everyone was very friendly at the party and they made as feel welcome.

The men was also welcome at the babyshower but they had to pay penalties the penaltie was nappies. The women had platters and the men sausage rolls. Cake for dessert

They got a lot of presents as you all know new babies are expensive and all the help is welcome.

There are still many things that they need but luckily we still have time to buy everything. The baby is due in March. After all the formalities were done. Everyone just relax and sit and chill out with friends and family. Kids were swimming and playing. We went home almost 7pm that evening. The evening didn't stopped the where had a barbecue very late and ate almost midnight. It's so nice to spend time with family and before i could see the weekend was over. Sunday morning came and it was time to go home. We were on the road by ten o'clock and everything was going well and just before we make the turn for ottosdal we had to take a break and stretch our legs and then we filled up the car again. It took only a while and we were back on the road not far into the next stretch of the road to ottosdal there is roadworks and gravel road and then the were a load noise and my husband realized it was the tire that had burst.

We stopped and took out the spare tire and jac and then more bad luck something went wrong and the jac was broken as well so now we are stranded on a road with almost no cars and the people that went by didn't even think to stop and help or just ask if we are okay at long last a white van stop and helped us one out of ten stopped i was so great full for this man

i wish i could remember his name and work place. But i want to thank u again and may God bless you always. We had more than 500km still to go and nothing faster then 80kmp all together we were on the road for almost nine hours. But i thank God we where save and home thanks for reading i hope you enjoyed my blog. Have a nice day now until next time ꨄ︎
