2️⃣ Some of the members of LadiesOfHive live in countries with similar laws. Are you one of them? If so, how do you cope with the constant hatred and suppression of women? Or do you enjoy having strict rules to follow? Do you think your country's views of women could be improved, and how? Would you flee to a safe place, if you could?

How's your day going, Ladies of Hive?

The new prompt in this community surprised me. I'm dishearted beyond measure upon knowing that there are women who undergo such a painful experience.

In the country where I belong- the Philippines, women are respected and loved at least in my opinion. There is still discrimination as to the capabilities of women but the great thing is a lot of men now help promote and lift women.

There are a lot of empowered women in society. Thereby, causing a change in the traditional perspectives and breaking stereotypes. Tracing history, our country had two women presidents. Presently, there are more women in the political and different sectors of society. The population understood the value of women. Men have high regard for women. Men are men enough to accept that we can perform and excel in any other field too just like them.

There are no underestimating women for we know our capabilities. Social media has helped spread awareness as to women's empowerment. We know our rights and our capabilities. There are no stopping women.

There were no strict rules for us to follow. We aren't caged in a box of rules we have to live by for the rest of our lives. We aren't deprived. Instead, some rules and laws shield and protect us. The government has had a set of rules intended to protect the rights of women. In addition to this, many women-led organizations are present and active in advocating for women's empowerment. Due to this, we know by now who and where to ask for help if ever we feel violated.

Sure, there are still cases that pertain to women's violence and obstruction of women's rights but these cases are surely being brought out in the open. I'm thankful that there are a lot of people now who are willing to help and fight for the rights of women. Thanks to the media people who constantly make us aware of what's happening around us. They put everything out in the open which makes concerned people and people in authority focus on the issue at hand.

I'm one of the blessed ladies and women who are living life freely and with support of the society. I'm so thankful that we get to participate and do our thing without having the fear of being cancelled, judged or abused. I'm blessed to be able to contribute what I can to society.

Thanks to the advocates who continue empowering us over the years. Thanks to those women who empower women. Thanks to the media and social media who have spread awareness. Thanks to all the people behind the law that protect us.

I hope one day, all women could enjoy freedom and be empowered as much as I can. One day, there will be no discrimination against us. We will be boundless.

I encourage @zbabe, @jeansapphire, and @bloghound to share your thoughts.

Until then.
