We all have that one thing that we are terrible at, and if we can get it as a job, the outcome won’t be nice because we will be terrible at it.
One of the things I hate doing is ironing clothes. I find ironing difficult when I have to iron clothes. There are a lot of times I have tried ironing clothes, and I get to spend a lot of hours on just three pairs of clothes. That shows how terrible I am at ironing. When I see people who iron their clothes and have them neatly folded, I always envy them.
Being perfect at ironing clothes involves a lot of hard work, and one needs to be careful with the clothes so they won't get burned.
Back when I was in high school, my father helped me iron my school uniform, and it was always neat. As of then, I always ran away from ironing my clothes by myself because I knew my father would help me, and all I did was relax and wait for my uniform to be ironed, then wear it neatly to school. But since I gained admission to college, I have to deal with ironing my clothes by myself, and to be sincere, I hate ironing clothes.
Especially if the clothes are large and you give them to me to iron, just keep in mind that either I didn't iron them well or it will take hours before I finish ironing them all.
Some people look at ironing as a simple task, but it can be tiring because it is repetitive. That's why I don't iron my clothes most of the time, because ironing is something I don't like doing. The fact that I don't like ironing my clothes most times is the reason why I hang my clothes in the perfect way after washing and make sure I put them in a basket before washing so that they will be wrinkle-free.
Imagine a person like me getting a job that involves ironing. It's obvious I won't do well at it. Yes, I can learn how to iron perfectly, but I just don't know why I don't want to learn. I think the reason is that I don't find ironing fun, and it's kind of stressful to me. Let's just say I hate it.
So, if I am given an ironing job, I will definitely be terrible at it.
