Hola querida comunidad de @ladiesofhive, espero que estén teniendo un día maravilloso. Hoy voy a presentar mi entrada al concurso de ésta semana, espero les guste porque es la primera vez que participo en uno de ellos.
Hello dear @ ladiesofhive community, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I am going to present my entry to this week's contest, I hope you like it because it is the first time that I participate in one of them.

The first question in this week's contest is:
What do you like the most about this time of year?
Me gusta mucho la navidad porque comparto con toda mi familia. La noche del 24 de Diciembre todos los años, elegimos la casa de mis abuelos para reunirnos, tíos, primos, sobrinos, hermosos y allegados a la famila. Cada familia llega con alguna comida para compartir y preparamos una mesa larga donde nos vamos sentando y una vez que la mesa está servida hacemos un brindis y damos gracias porque estamos unidos un año más. En la mesa normalmente ponemos : Hallacas, pan de Jamón, pernil, pollo horneado, ensalada de gallina, vino, uvas y refresco. De verdad es una delicia comer de todo un poco esa noche y quedamos muy satisfechos. Yo amo la comida navideña y se puede decir que es otra de las cosas que más me gustan de esta época del año.
I really like Christmas because I share with all my family. Every year on the night of December 24, we choose my grandparents' house to meet, uncles, cousins, nephews, beautiful and close friends of the family. Each family arrives with some food to share and we prepare a long table where we sit down and once the table is served we make a toast and give thanks because we are united for another year. On the table we usually put: Hallacas, ham bread, leg, baked chicken, chicken salad, wine, grapes and soft drink. It is really a delight to eat a little of everything that night and we were very satisfied. I love Christmas food and it can be said that it is another of the things that I like the most about this time of year.
Luego de la cena comenzamos el bochinche, todos estamos felices y nos ponemos a compartir, conversar, bailar, echar cuentos y anécdotas, hacemos juegos familiares y hasta cantamos karaoke. Así se nos van pasando las horas hasta amanecer.
After dinner we start the bochinche, we are all happy and we start to share, talk, dance, tell stories and anecdotes, we do family games and we even sing karaoke. So the hours go by until dawn.
Adicional hacemos el tradicional intercambio de regalos, es un juego que hacemos mucho los Venezolanos en navidad, donde sacamos un papelito días antes del 24 de diciembre con el nombre de la persona que le vamos a dar el regalo. Me pongo ansiosa por saber quien me va a regalar o qué me van a regalar y nos divertimos muchísimo. Se colocan todos los regalos en una mesa y siempre comenzamos con el más pequeño de la familia para iniciar el juego.
In addition, we do the traditional exchange of gifts, it is a game that Venezuelans do a lot at Christmas, where we take out a piece of paper days before December 24 with the name of the person who we are going to give the gift. I get anxious to know who is going to give me or what they are going to give me and we have a lot of fun. All the gifts are placed on a table and we always start with the smallest of the family to start the game.

Concluyo diciendo que la Navidad es mi época favorita del año y me parece que sino la tenemos pasaríamos el año incompletos. Aprovecho de invitar a @mairimgo23 a participar.

Question number 2: How would you spend a million dollars?

Bueno si les soy sincera en otro momento de mi vida hubiera pensado primeramente en lujos, cosas materiales, etc. Pero en este momento no, en este momento pienso primero en mi salud como primera opción, con ese dinero pagaría todos mis tratamientos para curarme al 100% del Cáncer de útero, ya que como todos sabemos es una enfermedad muy costosa.
Well, if I'm honest with you, at another time in my life I would have thought first of luxuries, material things, etc. But at this time no, at this time I think first of my health as the first option, with that money I would pay for all my treatments to cure 100% of uterine cancer, since as we all know it is a very expensive disease.
Como segunda opción me gustaría invertir el dinero en fundaciones para ayudar a todos los pacientes oncológicos que están pasando por esta dura enfermedad y están luchando mucho por curarse tanto niños, como mujeres y hombres y por no contar con los recursos suficientes no han podido mejorar. Los ayudaria principalmente a ellos porque yo se lo que se siente el no tener los recursos suficientes para curarte y batallar esta enfermedad.
As a second option, I would like to invest the money in foundations to help all cancer patients who are going through this hard disease and are struggling a lot to cure children, women and men and because they do not have enough resources they have not been able to improve. I would mainly help them because I know what it feels like to not have enough resources to heal and fight this disease.
Como tercera opción ayudaría con insumos y medicamentos a los principales hospitales del país para brindarle a los pacientes una atención con mayor calidad. Ya que estamos escasos de insumos por la situación que atravesamos en Venezuela.
As a third option, it would help with supplies and medicines to the main hospitals in the country to provide patients with higher quality care. Since we are short of supplies due to the situation we are going through in Venezuela.
Y cuarta opción crearía empresas para ayudar a mis familiares y amigos que se encuentren sin trabajo. Los ayudaría con excelentes paquetes salariales y así brindarles una mejor calidad de vida a ellos y a sus familiares.
And fourth option would create companies to help my family and friends who are out of work. I would help them with excellent salary packages and thus provide a better quality of life for themselves and their families.
