The 103rd edition of the Ladies of Hive CONTEST has come to a close and a winner has been selected! It was difficult as all the entries were wonderful! We would like to thank everyone who participated and are glad that the invitations brought more women into our community!
Wow, there were so many good entries to this contest! I could easily have declared 30 winners this week. And once I picked the winners, I wasn't sure I had them in the right order as each piece of writing shines with its own unique light. So many of you shared your tears, disbelief, anger, and many opinions on the causes/solutions to world events as I reported. I was thrilled that some women in societies where the hijab is common shared their views and experiences, too. You have certainly broadened my horizons and given much food-for-thought in your writings!
I would highly urge everyone in the LadiesOfHive community to read the work of your sisters hereย โ not just the winners, listed below, but some of the other entries, too. It's a great way to get to know the other women and to learn a bit from each other as well.
