Un Saludo a esta bella comunidad 😀🌹
La última noche del año es una noche de celebración diferente y llena de tradiciones. Es la noche donde cerramos un ciclo, es el momento de dejar atrás lo inacabado, los malos ratos, las penas ... Cerrar una etapa para iniciar un nuevo año repleto de esperanzas, retos, metas y superación. Por eso siempre celebro esta fecha con alegría y optimismo.🎉 Cuando leí la primera pregunta del concurso enseguida me vinieron a la mente las tradiciones y costumbres que forman parte de la celebración de fin de año y que realizamos para atraer la buena suerte y empezar el año con buena energía. Antes de contar lo que tradicionalmente hago ese día quiero compartir como dato curioso, algunas de las tradiciones que realizamos en mi país (Cuba). Los cubanos somos muy supersticiosos y realizamos varios rituales en el último minuto del último día del año, aquí menciono algunos: Sería interesante saber más acerca de las tradiciones de cada región, ¿Me las pueden hacer saber en sus comentarios? Ahora, mi última noche del año la disfruto siempre en compañía de mi familia, yo suelo celebrarlo con mi esposo y mis dos hijos, mi familia es pequeña, y a veces por problemas de lejanía no estamos todos juntos. Siempre hacemos una cena con los platos típicos criollos, si es verdad que la crisis en la economía no permite disfrutar como se quiere, pero siempre se hace un esfuerzo para que todo quede lo mejor posible. Lo principal es estar todos juntos y unidos en familia con buena salud y con los mejores deseos de empezar un año lleno de nuevas metas. El 1ro de Enero es para mí un día de descanso después del ajetreo que se vive el 31 de Diciembre. Ese día me gusta estar tranquila con mi familia en casa. ¡Ese es el primer día del año por lo que hay que vivirlo en paz y armonía! ❤️ Gracias a todos los que me han regalado un pedacito de su tiempo. That is why I always celebrate this date with joy and optimism.🎉 When I read the first question of the contest, I immediately thought of the traditions and customs that are part of the end of the year celebration and that we do to attract good luck and start the year with good energy. Before telling what I traditionally do that day, I want to share as a curious fact, some of the traditions that we perform in my country (Cuba). Cubans are very superstitious and we perform several rituals at the last minute of the last day of the year, here are some of them: It would be interesting to know more about the traditions of each region, can you let me know in your comments? Now, I always enjoy my last night of the year in the company of my family, I usually celebrate it with my husband and my two children, my family is small, and sometimes due to distance problems we are not all together. We always make a dinner with typical Creole dishes, it is true that the economic crisis does not allow us to enjoy as we want, but we always make an effort to make everything as good as possible. The main thing is to be all together and united as a family in good health and with the best wishes to start a year full of new goals. January 1st is for me a day of rest after the hustle and bustle of December 31st. On that day I like to be quiet with my family at home. Por lo que agradezco a @tibaire por su aporte con las preguntas de esta semana con las que todas nos podemos identificar.
Agradezco también a mi amiga @lileisabel que me animó a participar en este concurso.
Solemos tirar agua a la calle, se lanza un balde o un jarro con agua hacia la calle para limpiar la casa de malas energías, botar lo malo que dejó el año viejo y purificar el ambiente. Yo vivo en un edificio y lanzo el agua por el balcón (y ya estoy adelantando algo de lo que hago justo a esa hora) por suerte nunca ha habido alguien debajo en ese momento...
Otra de las tradiciones es la de quemar el muñecón. Este se confecciona con ropa vieja y todo lo que no usamos que le podamos poner, y simboliza al año que culmina. Confieso que nunca he quemado un muñeco, pero mis vecinos si, se saca el muñeco para la calle y lo prenden con fuego, ¡es todo un espectáculo! El fuego purifica, y con el fuego se quema todo lo negativo del año que acaba.
También hay personas que usan alguna prenda de color rojo para atraer la buena suerte y el amor.
Y por último, pero no menos importante es la de preparar una maleta de viaje y dar un paseo por la cuadra, esto se hace para tener la suerte de que llegue un viaje, y para el que ya tenga en planes viajar, poder realizarlo sin contratiempos... (Ya me estoy imaginando la de personas que van a salir con maletas este fin de año)
El último minuto lo esperamos todos juntos, justo a las 12 de la noche hacemos un brindis con sidra, o algún vino.🥂 Nos felicitamos y abrazamos deseándonos prosperidad, suerte y salud. Llamamos por teléfono o enviamos mensajes de felicitación a los familiares que no estén con nosotros... Ahhhh y por supuesto el lanzamiento de la cubeta con agua que ya había comentado, ¡eso no puede faltar!
En la mañana me tomo mi tiempo para salir de la cama y me pongo un poco remolona. Trato de dejarlo todo lo más recogido posible el día anterior para tener pocas cosas que hacer y poder pasar un día relajante.
Siempre sobra comida del día antes por lo que no suelo cocinar (no sé por qué, pero la comida del día anterior siempre me sabe mejor).
Disfruto viendo televisión, ya que pasan una programación bastante variada y entretenida. A mi niña pequeña le encanta ver dibujos animados, así que suelo disfrutarlos con ella... No suelo salir a hacer visitas, pero si llamo por teléfono a los compañeros de trabajo y amigos que no pude felicitar el día anterior para desearles un Feliz año Nuevo.

I also thank my friend @lileisabel who encouraged me to participate in this contest.
We usually throw water into the street, we throw a bucket or a jug with water towards the street to clean the house of bad energies, throw away the bad things left by the old year and purify the environment. I live in a building and I throw the water over the balcony (and I am already anticipating something of what I do just at that time) luckily there has never been anyone underneath at that time... Another tradition is the burning of the rag doll. This is made with old clothes and everything we don't use that we can put on it, and it symbolizes the year that is ending. I confess that I have never burned a rag doll, but my neighbors do, they take the doll out to the street and set it on fire, it is quite a spectacle! The fire purifies, and with the fire burns all the negative things of the year that is ending.
There are also people who wear a red garment to attract good luck and love.
And last but not least is to prepare a travel bag and take a walk around the block, this is done to have the luck of a trip, and for those who already have plans to travel, to be able to make it without setbacks....(I am already imagining how many people are going to leave with suitcases this year end).
The last minute we wait all together, just at 12 o'clock at night we make a toast with cider, or a wine.🥂 We congratulate and hug each other wishing prosperity, luck and health. We call by phone or send messages of congratulations to relatives who are not with us .... Ahhhh and of course the throwing of the bucket with water that I had already mentioned, that can not be missed!
In the morning I take my time to get out of bed and I get a bit lazy. I try to leave everything as tidy as possible the day before so that I have as little to do as possible and can have a relaxing day.
There is always food left over from the day before so I don't usually cook (I don't know why, but the food from the day before always tastes better to me).
I enjoy watching TV, as they show a varied and entertaining programming. My little girl loves watching cartoons, so I usually enjoy them with her.... I don't usually go out to visit, but I do phone colleagues and friends that I didn't get to congratulate the day before to wish them a Happy New Year.
