What a whirlwind year it was for the Daily Bread Food Bank! We had so many challenges that we needed to overcome; obstacles over obstacles that seemed to look like immovable mountains, but by the Grace of God, HIS provision and protection, we went through hurdles after hurdles, and God has never failed on HIS promises.
We are currently having a super short break for 3 weeks with many of us down with influenza and covid, but because we pushed through the year and the recipients received abundant blessings, we were able to just "chillax" before our packing starts again and the final Saturday of January.

Of course we didn't leave our dearest volunteers behind without the gratitude from our hearts! Words can never be able to express our gratitude for our army of super muscles !
That is why before we sent them off for to hurdle through 2023, we made sure we fed them well till great satisfaction!
Looking at how hard they pushed through to fulfill 500 families orders, how can we not pamper them with a feast to their hearts content?
They are indeed our gem
Our warriors of the LORD Almighty, that every sweat on their brow were not for their personal gain but for emulating HIS love for those who are weak, marginalized, under privileged, inability to put a full meal on the table daily.
All of our beloved volunteers take James 2:16 very seriously, for:
and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?
Time sacrificed for them in the eyes of the world is quality time for our generous volunteers, every resource packed, every knot tied, brings satisfaction that by evening, at least one family has something warm to fill their bellies.
He who is generous will be blessed,
For he gives some of his food to the poor.
Proverbs 22:9
And wholeheartedly we know, our volunteers will indeed be blessed, especially in the time when they needed the most.
Every exhaustion is never wasted; every ache is never unappreciated.
