Today I will love to take you on a little journey of mine. The Ladies of hive community contest this week has asked us to talk about our passion and below is my response.
Tell us about your passions, such as painting, dancing, drawing, knitting, taking pictures, etc. The sky is the limit — anything that makes you happy is a passion!
My love for photography
Aside from blogging here on the hive which I enjoyed doing a lot one other thing I love doing is taking pictures. I have always been drawn and fascinated by photography work most especially, nature photography.
like I can create a likable picture out of any object. But I haven't been able to fully pursue this passion of mine because I don't have a quality camera yet and there are a lot of other projects lining up to be sorted out in terms of finance.
What I do, is mostly use my phone to capture things that caught my attention. I think my phone camera is not doing so bad. In short, I got this phone TECNO SPARK 8P mostly for the camera quality and long-lasting battery and so far is serving me well to some extent.
The following are some of my shots, kindly feed your eyes, and let me know how you feel or think about them. Thank you ❤
I have tried to capture the sunset at the back of my house but the buildings always ended up blocking my shots. I still love the capture anyways as it shows me the beauty of the sky in my area most of the time.
We are presently in the rainy season, so the cloud is mostly thick and fascinating. I love to take a walk in the evening taking as many shots as I can before returning home.
Pictures of Zuma Rock I took in January this year. Zuma Rock which can sometimes be referred to as the gateway to Abuja from Suleja is located In Suleja the Northern part of Nigeria.
Here is a closer look at the eyes of the rock. I hope you can spot the eyes? hehehe
A wider look at the rock and the whole area. I decide to put it in black and white, I simply love the outcome.
I decided to add some art effects using an app on my phone to the image above and it gave me this fascinating one below.
I can only post these few shots about the Zuma Rock here as I had published others somewhere in my article sometime this year.
A little fellow wondering at my backyard one certain morning but too shy to post for a shot.
Lastly, here is my leg on one certain cold day.
I derived a lot of pleasure doing this and hope someday I can get myself a professional camera or perhaps a drone, so I can take more beautiful pictures and create some sweet memories with this passion of mine.
Hello, @edystringz I will love to invite you for this challenge.
Thank you very much for your time, attention, and support
