On my last visit to the village, we embarked on a grueling journey to bring back a lost cow. I want to tell you about the reasons for the journey.
The cattle owners could not find a shepherd in the village. Because young people no longer want to live in the village. The elderly, on the other hand, cannot cope with the difficult roads of the village. For this reason, each owner of the animal is a shepherd in turn. The person whose turn it is can give money and have someone else do this job for a day.
The culprit of the lost cow story is a young man who did it for a day for money. After releasing the cows to the countryside, he went for a walk in the town :) When I asked one of the villagers why he did this, he said that the cows know the way home :) In the evening, each of them goes back to where they belong. I think our lost cow wanted to graze some more that day. We could not understand the cow's decision as we had to return home from the village. Our old grandmother couldn't drive through those steep fields and bring the cow back.

En sonki köy ziyaretimde kayıp bir ineği geri getirmek için zorlu bir yolculuğa çıktık. Sizlere yolculuğun sebeplerinden bahsetmek istiyorum.
Köyde büyükbaş hayvan sahipleri bir çoban bulamamışlar. Gençler artık köyde yaşamak istemiyor çünkü. Yaşlılar ise köyün zorlu yoları ile başa çıkamıyor. O sebeple hayvan sahiplerinden her biri sırayla çobanlık yapıyor. Sırası gelen kişi isterse para verip bir gün için bu işi başkasına yaptırabiliyor.
Kayıp inek hikayesinin suçlusu bir gün için bu işi parayla yapan bir genç. İnekleri kırsala saldıktan sonra ilçeye gezmeye gitmiş :) Bunu neden yaptığını köyden birine sorduğumda, inekler evin yolunu biliyor dedi :) Akşam olunca her biri ait olduğu yere dönüyormuş. Sanırım bizim kayıp inek o gün biraz daha otlamak istedi. Köyden eve dönmemiz gerektiği için ineğin bu kararını anlayışla karşılayamadık. Yaşlı ninemiz o sarp arazilerde ilerleyip ineği geri getiremezdi.

And we found the cow. I was tired. My high-soled sneakers haven't helped me at all. The return journey has begun. The cow was first. He knew where to go.
Ve ineği bulduk. Yorulmuştum. Yüksek tabanlı spor ayakkabılarım bana hiç yardımcı olmamıştı. Geri dönüş yolculuğu başladı. İnek en öndeydi. Nereden gideceğini biliyordu.
We left the valleys behind and entered the country road. Cow street by street dominated these roads. I have been to this village several times before. The cow knew the roads better than me :)
Vadileri geride bırakıp köy yoluna girdik. İnek sokak sokak hakimdi bu yollara. Ben daha önce birkaç defa gelip gittim bu köye. İnek benden iyi biliyordu yolları :)
And so our journey with the lost cow came to an end :) Goodbye.
