It's difficult for many of us to fully imagine the fear and suffering of the innocents, trapped within war-torn areas - especially the children - unless you have experienced it yourself; as some of our Hive members have, past and present.
The photo below, is a web capture from the recent accompanying @PatrickLancaster video, direct from the Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine.
There... the war between Separatists and Government Forces have been ongoing for over eight years. Not many people outside of Ukraine, know of this tragedy, because the Mainstream Media has largely neglected to report upon it.
Independent Journalist, Patrick Lancaster, has been documenting events within this region of Ukraine for many years, while living there, from abroad.
In the video below, you can witness him visiting a Ukranian Russian Orthodox church, along with soldiers and volunteers who are bringing much needed food and supplies to citizens, having taken shelter there.
There is a heart-wrenching scene within this video, in which the children actually sing a song for the soldier in front of them.
