Hola amigos, el lunes fue mi primer día de clases después de año y ocho meses, todos estamos muy nerviosos porque a pesar de que somos conscientes que las clases presenciales son necesarias para el desarrollo de los niños también es cierto que el virus del Covid 19 todavía está entre nosotros y que debemos cuidarnos. Para este regreso de clases nos hemos estado preparando desde el 16 de septiembre que empezamos a trabajar las docente. Por ahora la metodología de trabajo en la escuela donde laboro es dividir a los niños en dos grupos, en mi caso son 15 niños en cada grupo y los estudiantes asistirán dos días a la semana, el primer grupo lunes y martes, el segundo grupo tendrá clases miércoles y jueves en el horario de 7:30 am hasta las 11:00 am.

Hello friends, Monday was my first day of classes after a year and eight months, we are all very nervous because although we are aware that face-to-face classes are necessary for the development of children, it is also true that the Covid 19 virus it is still among us and that we must take care of ourselves. For this return to school we have been preparing since September 16 when we began to work as teachers. For now the work methodology in the school where I work is to divide the children into two groups, in my case there are 15 children in each group and the students will attend two days a week, the first group Monday and Tuesday, the second group will have Classes Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 am to 11:00 am.

El domingo me dedique a preparar todos los materiales que debía llevar a mi trabajo, cuadernos de planificación, libros, marcadores, cartel de cumpleaños, cartel de responsabilidades, el emociometro, en fin lo necesario para hacer mi trabajo más ameno, también empaque la caja para guardar los expedientes de los niños.

On Sunday I dedicated myself to preparing all the materials that I had to take to my work, planning notebooks, books, markers, birthday poster, responsibility poster, the emociometer, in short, what I need to make my work more enjoyable, I also packed the box to keep children's records.

En mi salón hay una cartelera la cual no había decorado así que prepare un cartel para darle la bienvenida a mis estudiantes además de escribir todos sus nombres, la idea es crear un ambiente acogedor para nuestros niños, debemos entender que ellos también tienen miedo y es importante que se sientas animados.

In my classroom there is a billboard which I had not decorated so I prepared a poster to welcome my students in addition to writing all their names, the idea is to create a welcoming environment for our children, we must understand that they are also afraid and it is important that you feel encouraged.

El lunes al llegar a mi salón de clases lo primero que hice fue preparar la cartelera para la llegada de los niños, luego de darles la bienvenida y cantar nuestro himno “Gloria al Bravo Pueblo” nos dirigimos al aula, conversamos sobre todo el tiempo que no nos vimos, de las vacaciones y también recordamos las normas de bioseguridad como el uso obligatorio del tapabocas, el distanciamiento social y el uso del gel antibacterial, al momento de poner en práctica el emociometro, pude evidenciar que la mayoría de los niños estaban alegres de volver a la escuela, pocos manifestaron tener miedo y uno dijo que sentía rabia pero porque no pudo dormir como él quería, es impresionante lo que dicen los niños.

En particular me encantó volver al aula de clases, tener ese encuentro y conversaciones con los niños es algo mágico, nunca se sabe con lo que te van a salir. Ya para hoy he recibido la mayoría de los estudiantes, 21 niños de 30 que están matriculados, existen representantes que aun no están dispuestos a exponer a sus hijos y a su familia al virus, es una decisión personal y se respeta. Para culminar les digo que me siento contenta y emocionada de seguir compartiendo con ellos este nuevo año escolar 2021-2022.

I particularly loved going back to the classroom, having that meeting and conversations with the children is something magical, you never know what they are going to get you with. By today I have received most of the students, 21 children out of 30 who are enrolled, there are representatives who are not yet willing to expose their children and their family to the virus, it is a personal decision and it is respected.
