The new story of Mad Max began with a young Furiosa living a peaceful live in her home The Green Place of the Many Mothers. We see her trying to catch an apple from a tree and a friend of her told her to please stop and leave that they are a in the border of her land and it is dangerous, despite the warning Furiosa continue but she was heard from a group of men that were there and saw her, kidnapping her and taken her to their leader in the desert, a man named Dr. Dementus, a person who does not mind trampling on another to achieve what he wants. This young Furiosa now is surrounding of hate, with people that is trying to survive, in this apocalyptic world and knowing a place called the Citadel that is also presided by another tyrant known as The Immortal Joe. Since this moment Furiosa is going to start the most important journey in her young life. She is going to fight to return to her home, fighting anyone who gets in her way and in the journey growing in a strong woman that never is going to stop reach her goal.
Furiosa A Mad Max Saga is the new movie of the director and creator of the Mad Mad franchise George Miller. This new movie is telling the story of a young Furiosa and how this journey is taking her to become the heroine that we all already know. The movie continue with the post apocalyptic world where Furiosa is forced to face every challenge if she wants to survive. Anya Taylor Joy is taking the main role in this new movie as a young Furiosa, in an iconic and extremely difficult character that has been already performed by the amazing actress Charlize Theron in the previous movie Mad Max: Fury Road and Dr. Dementus is performed by Chis Hemworth.

Plot and Setting: A Return to the Desert
This new story of Furiosa is a prequel of Mad Max: Fury Road. Tell the story of a young Furiosa when she was abducted from her home, the Green Place of Many Mothers and thrown to the core of the cruel desert. Now she is going to live a nightmare, under the control of Warlord Dementus and amidst the chaos of fighting tyrants. Despite this new events Furiosa decided to start a journey of determination and survival all to return to her home. This is the main premise of the story, with the desert as the witness of every violence and action between the people that are trying to survive and the ones who have the power, this is a complete action movie that will bring that strengthen of a child that become a woman in way to revenge herself.
Production Perceptions and Expectations
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the fifth movie of the Mad Max franchise. As we now it is directed and produce by the Australian director George Miller, who is the creator of the Mad Max Universe. The story was co-write with Nico Lathouris, also from the previous movie Mad Max Fury Road movie, some members of the cast has returned such as the film editor Margaret Sixel, customer designer Jenny Beavan, production designer Colin Gibson and the composer Tom Holkenborg.
Interesting Fun Fact about Furiosa A Mad Max Saga
At the beginning this project was supposed to be adapted as an anime under the title The Peach. As an anime this was going to be directed by Mahiro Maeda known for his work in Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo and by his participation in The Animatrix. This was the main idea with this project but as every body know now, it didn’t came through and at the end it result as the movie that we are waiting to view and extending the Mad Max franchise.

George Miller is an Australian filmmaker. Miller is the mastermind in the creation of one of the most successful franchise in the world, Mad Max, whose second and fourth movies of the franchise, have been acclaimed as two of the greatest action films of all time, making Fury Road the winner of six Academy Awards. But that is not all the genius director has worked on, he has worked in different genre given movies such as the biographical medical drama Lorenzo Oil, a dark fantasy The Witches of Eastwick and the animated movie Happy Feet, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2006.
Since 1979 director Miller created a new standard for action genre, giving to the audience a dystopian world full of action becoming an acclaimed director with a impressive filmography, with this new installment the director is telling the story of the famous heroin Furiosa and her roots, how she was kidnapped and how she became a force in a world ruled by men.
One more time the director George Miller is bringing to the audience a new story about the amazing world of the iconic franchise Mad Max. An apocalyptic world that since 1979 had give to the viewers a new experience. Furiosa A Mad Max Saga is the story of the journey of a young girl who was forced to grow more faster than she would have wanted all to survive. Is important to mention that actress Anya Taylor Joy has a big challenge taking the role of Furiosa since in its predecessor actress Charlize Theron performed this character and has left the bar very high, despite that I am almost certain that this new movie will be amazing, enjoyable and full of what we expect about it action and a lot of it. With the recent trend of building up trilogies and a synergy between TV series and Movies I think after its good reception from the recent premier would be a good opportunity to start building up the hype for a third movie right after it release on Theaters on May 24, 2024 and if possible look into the opportunity to create a TV series although that could be a way more ambitious project depending on how much the story needs to be extended.
