Takeaways That Satisfy My Craving!!! <3 <3 <3

There are times when we suddenly just have a craving for something, especially food that we don't usually eat. It's common in my family to ask every member what they want to eat before making a final decision. I sometimes joke about eating foods that are quite difficult to prepare or something they can't make.

Anyway, one of my cravings have been satisfied today... and a few days back, my parents' cravings were also taken care of, so let's check them out! ^^

A few days ago, my father went out to do some grocery shopping for our small store and also for our personal use at home. He'd be back by lunch time, so mama asked him to order some takeaway or takeout from Manila Foodshoppe.

Both my parents love Maki Mi. It's a kind of noodle soup dish with very thick brown broth mixed with egg. It also has some tender and small slices of pork in it. We haven't really tried making our own Maki mi, and the one in Manila Foodshoppe is really delicious. I'm not really a huge fan of this dish compared to my parents, but I also enjoyed eating it with them. I especially like the consistency of the soup. It's pretty similar to egg soup, but with a stronger flavor.

Now, this is more my thing! haha I really like the beef steak in Manila Foodshoppe. Whenever we eat out or just buy some takeaway, I always order this. The serving is good for 3-4 people and it's quite affordable. We seldom have beef dishes at home not only because beef is more expensive, but also my mama doesn't like its smell. lol

She has prepared some beef dishes in the past, but it's really rare. She also doesn't like eating beef because she said the smell is too strong for her. So yeah, takeaway, it is!

Earlier today, papa went out to buy some stuff we need at home again. And when he was about to go, I shouted "PASALUBONG!" like I always do. It means, I want him to buy something to give me when he returns home later like a souvenir or something.

I then went to my room and had my morning classes. When I went out of my room for lunch, I saw a very familiar box... and yes!!! It was lasagna with a garlic stick. <3

It made me so happy, that my tiredness went away. I've been craving this for quite a while now. I love it! We can't make it at home because we don't have an oven and maybe some ingredients like the pasta used are quite uncommon, so we can hardly find it in the supermarket.

Anyway, I'm so happy and I just wanted to share my happiness here. :) I'll see you again soon! ^^
