Wishing all my dear friends a very happy day! How are you all doing? Today marks the dawn of our Sinhala New Year, so it's a joyous occasion. The day ahead is bustling with activity. Yesterday, in anticipation of this special celebration, I whipped up a delicious cake in a unique manner. Cakes are an essential part of any festive dining table, and the one I created required no oven. Not only that, but it can be made using basic ingredients, avoiding artificial flavors often found in store-bought options. Let's take a look at the ingredients needed to craft this delightful treat.
Materials Used.
Wheat flour 200g.
2 Egg.
A little margarine.
Sugar 150g.
1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
A pinch of salt.
liquids milk powder 150ml.
1 teaspoon of baking powder.
For the chocolate mixture.
Sugar 50g.
70ml of water.
2 teaspoons of margarine.
Cocoa powder 25g.
75g pieces of dry fruits in 3 colors.
Method of making.
First, take a bowl and add two eggs to it. Then add sugar to it and mix well.
After that add cardamom powder and salt powder and mix well.
Now add the melted margarine and stir. When it becomes creamy, add the milk. Now mix it without sugar lumps.
Then take a strainer and add the wheat flour through the strainer. Add baking powder to it. Then mix it well.
Spread the prepared mixture on a plate and grease it with oil or butter. Add the prepared mixture to the tray.
Then we put it on a rice cooker on low heat and let it bake for about 30 minutes.
Remove from heat after 30 minutes. Then prepare the chocolate mixture. Add chocolate powder, water and sugar and mix.
Now keep the mixture on the stove. When the mixture thickens, add a tablespoon of margarine to it. Then after it thickens, remove from heat.
Now take the cake and cut it into square pieces, spread the pieces in the prepared chocolate mixture and spread the fruits. As shown in the pictures below.
So, in this manner, it's beautifully and deliciously prepared and ready to enjoy. This recipe is perfect for special occasions like birthday parties when you want to impress your guests with something unique. While it may be a bit challenging to prepare, the satisfaction of a successful completion makes it worthwhile. With that, I bid you goodbye for today and look forward to our next meeting. Have a fantastic day.
