I have a very demanding full-time job that requires me to be in the office from no later than 9 in the morning until 6 in the evening. On top of that, I get to have only a 30-minute break. I know, I know! No person will survive this kind of compressed workweek. Perhaps, I am not a human being for I've been here for almost 7 years now.

Every time a holiday falls on a Saturday we have to work for only 8 hrs. But that's as rare as a blue moon showing itself to everyone. This coming Saturday is a holiday in the Philippines (Black Saturday); so aside from work is only until tomorrow, lunch breaks are set at an hour, too! Wohooo!!!

I've managed to create a tradition out of these rare 1-hr lunch moments. On a regular day, I just buy food nearby and eat on my workstation but this week I made sure I go out. I'm kinda bored with what I've been eating all these months since 2022 started. So at exactly 12 noon, I left the office and went out. I had no preidentified restaurant or cafe to visit for lunch. So I just roamed around in a nearby mall and not seeing anything enticing, I went to another mall just across Robinsons.

I wanted to spend three times my usual meal's cost; this lunch was supposed to be special. But I don't want to be spending Php 300-400 on fast food (I love Greenwich tho, but it's a no!) I look for this cafe I'd been dying to visit but after some time I couldn't find it. Then after a few more minutes of walking, I found it! Thank, God!

I ordered a salad bowl. I also had to check if they have nonpork meals. Thankfully they do. It's a gloomy day but I'm craving a mango shake, so I ordered one too! My meal was peaceful and oozing with flavor. I love their Aloha Bowl! I'd go back for another of their bestsellers soon! I enjoyed my lunch out date with myself, this should become a regular thing.
