See what I made out of Irish potatoes || Dreemport challenge.

Hello, foodies Bee Hive community! I am glad to join in today in sharing my food delights with everyone. The ongoing Dreemport challenge was my inspiration for presenting this dish I tried out today. My family is a lover of different species of potatoes, especially sweet potatoes. We make different kinds of meals out of it, both for breakfast and lunch. Aside from using Irish potatoes for chips, I haven't used them for porridge. It never occurred to me that it would come out nice until I tried it today! Should I call it an adventure? Perhaps I should.

The first step I took was to peel the Irish potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and cook them until they were soft. I also added salt while boiling it to enhance its taste. When the potatoes were done, I sieved them and set them aside to prepare the sauce.

Preparing the sauce is an easy step, especially when you have all your ingredients ready. The first step I took here was to heat up my pot and then add the red oil.

I allowed the red oil to heat up a bit before adding my sliced onions.

I love to add ginger to most of my meals since I discovered its health benefits. So I bought ground ginger at once for easy reach. Alright, let's continue. When the onion was fried a bit, I added the grounded ginger and stirred the mix.

I did a rough blend of my fresh peppers and crayfish and added them as well.

I deboned my fish to add, added Maggie, and added a little salt to taste since I already added some while boiling the Irish potatoes, after which I stirred thoroughly to avoid the sauce sticking in my pot.

At this stage, I tasted the sauce and confirmed that all ingredients were okay, and I had my boiled Irish potatoes poured inside the sauce. I gently turned it to have a uniform mix.

Adding my sliced veggies was the last step I took. In order not to lose its nutrients, I added the veggies, covered the pot for two minutes, and turned off the light. It's just that simple to prepare your healthy, delicious Irish potato porridge.
