lavamos bien el plátano y lo cortamos en 3 ó 4 trozos, desechando las puntas. Hervimos el plátano hasta que ablande un poco su concha, no demasiado.
We wash the banana well and cut it into 3 or 4 pieces, discarding the tips. We boil the banana until it softens its shell a little, not too much.
Cuando el plátano esté blando, dejamos enfriar y retiramos la pulpa. Una vez frío, cortamos la cáscara en tiritas. Reservamos.
When the banana is soft, let it cool and remove the pulp. Once cold, we cut the peel into strips. We booked.
Aparte rallamos los vegetales y sofreímos. Agregamos las tiritas, el comino y la sal al gusto y dejamos sofreir un ratito más.

Con la pulpa también se pueden hacer arepas. Sólo tienes triturarla y agregar un poquito de harina de maíz o de trigo para dar consistencia a la masa, y sal. Haces bolitas que vas aplastando dándole una forma redondeada. Cocinar la arepa sobre un budare...
