Hello foodlovers!!!
Today is my husband payday ,and everytime he recieved his salary ,I asked him what he wants to eat or sometimes he will request his favorite dish.He deserves to eat his favorite dish on his salary day ofcourse hahaha.
Mostly ,he will requested the stingray recipe or nilabog in our dialect.Sometimes also ,he requested pancit and chicken liver.
And now ,I asked him if he wants nilabog for dinner and a big yes he answered.
I am wishing that there will be stingray at the market coz they always selling this.Luckily ,I found one vendor who is selling this stingray.
When I got home from the market ,I started preparing for dinner.He will left the house for work around 6:30 in the evening ,so I need to prepare our dinner at 5 in the afternoon.
Stingray recipe(nilabog?
Ingredients
*Stingray(1 kilo)
*Taosho(smash blackbeans)
*Garlic
*Onion
*Ginger
*Bell pepper
*Onion leaves
*Cooking oil
*Water
*Seasoning mix
Procedure
In a hot pan ,add cooking oil then saute the ginger ,garlic and onion until you can smell the aroma of it.
This would be help to remove the unwanted smells or lansa of the stingray.
Then add the slice stingray in a medium heat and cover for a minute.
Then add the a seasoning mix and black pepper.For the seasoning mix ,I just estimate the amount of it,just to added some taste to the dish.
Add the taosho,bell pepper and 1cup of water.
Cooked it for 10 minutes ,then taste it if your already satisfied with the taste then add the onion leaves then turn off the fire.
And charrraaannnn ,here's the finished product ,nilabog (stingray recipe)is ready to serve.
And since its my husband's payday ,I prepared not only one dish but two dishes for dinner.We will envite my husband's brother to have dinner with us later.
