Hi all...
How are you guys?
May you always be healthy and enthusiastic to carry out every activity
Today I made lunch. Even though it's the weekend, I have to work. I made a simple and uncomplicated lunch. I made Balado Fish. Honestly, this is one of my favorite foods. When I was in the village, my mother used to cook balado fish. I learned from him. Why is it simple? because the ingredients are also not much and the manufacturing process is not long nor difficult.
This fish in Java is called gereh besek. Balado fish is a home cooking. Usually Javanese people must be familiar with this dish. even in my village, almost every house often cooks this food. The taste is savory and delicious to make not stop to eat it.
here's the recipe for it
Material:
- fish besek
- chilli
- Shallot
- garlic
- sugar
- salt
How to make:
- wash the fish with clean water
Pulse the onion, garlic, and chili until a little smooth
prepare a frying pan to fry the fish first
- Pour about 2 cups of medium size cooking oil into the pan and wait until the oil starts to heat up
- when it's hot, add fish
- Wait until the fish is cooked, don't forget to flip the fish so that it cooks evenly.
- if it is cooked, remove and drain.
- Prepare a frying pan with a little oil.
- Pour the spices that have been pulverized
- stir
- Pour 1 small spoon of salt
- Pour 2 tablespoons of sugar
- stir again
- Pour clean water 1 small cup
- stir
- pour fish then stir
- wait until cooked
- if it is cooked, remove and serve
- finished
I hope this recipe is useful and can be an inspiration for your food menu. don't forget to use rice if you want to eat balado fish. because this fish is suitable to use rice. especially when the rice is still hot. Most Indonesians, whatever the food, there must always be rice.
Good luck :)
