In Indonesia, there’s a thing called Anak Kos. This refers to a student/anyone who lives away from their hometown and occupying a rented small room. But generally, this refers to students. Often, their place of living doesn’t come with a shared kitchen. So, to save up money, many of them cook with a rice cooker. Overtime, there are many tools that help these people. Smart multicooker is one of them. It’s a versatile tool that helps these people save money on food. There are many in the market but try to choose the smart multicooker with non-stick coating because it will last long.
I got a multi-cooker with a brand name called advance. This multi-cooker comes with the steamer tray too. It has a non-stick coating which makes it easier to fry food. Like in the video, I have tried to fry an egg and also made soup with it. With relatively cheap prices ranging from 8$ to 12$ , you already get all in one purpose that a rice cooker would do. It’s also easier to carry than a rice cooker. So not only perfect for home use, you can bring that to travel as well.
Cleaning the multi cooker is also easy. You only have to wipe it with wet cloth. Never try to wash the cooker because it could damage the heating pad. So, just wipe it or boil water after use, especially for a sauce based meal.
Though I have a shared kitchen in this place, I am just too lazy to go there. So I got this multi-cooker that lets me multitask between cooking soup and heating up the rice. In the video above, I show you the display of it. So, even if you’re living in a small place, you can still have fun with cooking using this smart multi-cooker.
