Today's Recipe Dinner Idea
Garlic Grilled Tuna With Sour Cream Sauce
This recipe was made out of the blue. I got the worst part of the tuna slice which is the tail. I never like that part from tuna fish because making a fillet out of it is challenging. Since I have to make the most out of it, I was cutting it almost evenly. I think this was one of my best tuna recipe I've tried thus far. So, this recipe was also written in my personal cookbook.
Ingredients
- Some slices of Tuna Fillet,
- 2 garlic, minced
- Salt + Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp thyme
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sour cream
- Grated mozzarella + cheddar cheese
- Onion, minced and sauted
- 1 tbsp light mayo
Cut the tail into some slices of fillet.
Prepare the minced garlic and also thyme. Squeeze the lemon into a bowl.
Put the mixture of minced garlic, thyme, olive oil, and lemon juice into a zipper bag. Put the tuna inside it and zip lock the bag. Leave it for 30 minutes to marinade. Take it out from the bag, sprinkle salt and pepper as desired.
I did not capture the frying process and the sauce making process as I was busy trying to make blooming onion. I would say making a blooming onion is a bit tricky. I was using a cleaver knife while I should have used a regular one.
With the cleaver knife, I was not able to cut them evenly. So, learn from my lesson folks. Use regular knife when you want to make a blooming onion.
Anyhow, that's all from my cooking lab today! let me know if you ever try to make a blooming onion.
