After exploring a cave and chatting with the second-in-command of Tourism in Mabinay, I asked for his recommendation for a good restaurant to dine at in town. He suggested to try Pableo's Grill and Restaurant. Join me as I take you there virtually.
My heart was filled with gratitude as I left the Tourism Office due to the locals' hospitality - one of the Filipino traits that I admire. I had the thought of definitely coming back here while waiting for a bus or tricycle.
I was advised to take a bus as the fare is much cheaper compared to a tricycle; however, since the growling sound of my stomach disturbed me, signaling that it was time for a meal, the tricycle arrived first, and I had no choice but to hop in.
The tricycle driver safely transported me to the restaurant. As I entered the widely open gate, I noticed that there were many rooms around.
The ambiance of the surroundings was cool, as the place has many different trees and plants.
I greeted their staff when I saw them and asked where the restaurant was located. They pleasantly guided me in the right direction.
It was already past 1:00 o'clock when I arrived at the restaurant, and I was glad to see that there were only a few customers dining. The staff immediately took my order at the counter.
While waiting for my food, I took the opportunity to check around. The place was quiet and had a relaxing atmosphere. The bougainvilleas were blooming with many flowers, which added to the beauty of the place.

I almost forgot that I was already starving as I enjoyed sightseeing and taking photos. "Miss, here's your order," I heard the waitress call my attention. The aroma of the food immediately awakened my sense of smell, making me want to gobble it up.
When I asked the staff about their best-seller, they mentioned that it was humba (braised pork dish). However, since I am not fond of it, I opted for another viand. I didn't regret my decision, as the viand I chose was incredibly delicious.
Since it was too hot that day, I was tempted to order halo-halo. It is our favorite food during hot weather because it helps to cool down the body temperature.
While I was savoring it, an adorable cat sat across from me. "I have a date with a cat today," I suddenly smiled as the thought popped into my mind. I've never had an experience like this before, but remember guys, I am not an animal lover.
After a few minutes, another cat sat beside me and when I looked to the other side, the dog silently sat down there. It was a day spent with both dog and cats.
If you're a cake lover, then you can have it there, as the restaurant also offers a selection of cakes with various flavors on display.
I ended up feeling very full that afternoon. After finishing my lunch, I got ready to visit another tourist spot. I'm excited to share it with you soon.
