I will always be grateful to spend time with my friends whatever be the reason – there’s always time for celebration, especially over a meal. This way we can connect and have meaningful conversations and I just got the perfect place for that where you can both have a quiet, comfy place and great food to enjoy.
This is actually a very late post Valentine double date with my closest friend. We actually wanted a place that is not packed with customers for the reason that we wanted to enjoy good conversation since it’s almost summer and we usually discussed these things with my friend as to where our families’ summer getaway will be. Upon checking online, my husband came across this restaurant Café Des Amis which we both think was the Tymad Bistro before maybe new management (not so sure though).
The restaurant had alfresco dining which I love because I’m still not okay with indoor dining. We had a reservation for four and just as we arrived at the place our table was ready with the perfect spot.
We ordered their best-sellers on their menu and I must say we really enjoyed the food. It was prepared well and the serving was huge, we weren’t able to consume it.
The restaurant also has authentic French pastries and artisan bread by their very own Chef Philippe. They also have cakes and tarts but unfortunately, we weren’t able to try them because we were so full maybe on our next visit.

The customer service was great because they really made sure to accommodate us even if we dine outside. Well, I don’t usually commend on restrooms but this one needs the credit it deserved because it was really clean and perfumed! Overall the restaurant is amazingly perfect for those people looking for an intimate, cozy place that’s surely a bang for the buck.
