WORLDSDAILYFOOD PHOTO CONTEST | FRIDAY PIZZA OR PASTA ENTRY FOR FOOD PHOTO CHALLENGE

In the west, we call it pasta while in the east, we call it noodles but if you ask me, it still comes from the same family. When I just got back home 5 weeks ago, I had made a list of MUST EAT & MUST BUY items. This is what happens when one is deprived of such simple luxurious of life that we take it for granted.

Here is one of my MUST EAT local hawker food in Malaysia. It only cost me MYR6.00 = USD1.45 for a plate here while if I were to order in Vietnam, it'll probably cost me USD6.45 for something of a smaller portion & not that tasty.

Very commonly known as Char Kway Teow, it is served with broad flat noodle, chilli paste, beansprouts, prawn and a must have ingredient kerang or shellfish. I much prefer to use long thin noodles like spaghetti and perhaps sometimes, combine both noodles to give it a bit of a punch!

I will sure miss this dish as it will be another 6 months or more at least before I can go home and truly enjoy a good plate of Char Kway Teow 😆

I hope you enjoy my photo as it's taken from my Huawei phone.
