Creamiest Halo Halo in Town.
Hello Foodies!
Not long ago, we tried this Halo-halo place near our home and I wanted to share our whole experience with you. This is not a food review.
If you didn't know what Halo-halo is, it is a popular cold dessert in the Philippines made of shaved ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients like sweetened banana, flan, beans, boiled taro cubes, pinipig (rice cripies) and sago pearls, kaong(sugar palm fruit), nata de coco, macapuno and other fruit preserves. Well alot of restaurants offers their own unique version of this dessert since it's one of the famous cold snack in the country.

This restaurant chain claimed that they have the creamiest halo-halo in town. So we gave it a try! We were not disappointed! It is indeed creamy and delicious!
Their shaved ice is really soft and creamy but what really standout to their dessert is their signature toppings which is the sweetened purple yam.

The purple yam jam is thick but at the same time soft and not too sweet which I find perfect for the dessert.
It's overpowering with flavor not just sweetness.

They also serves pasta, burger and fries and we did order some but the kids devour it before I even got a chance to take a snap!š
The name of the restaurant is Ben's Halo halo.
The place itself is cozy and got a cool ambience. It's perfect if you're with your friends and just want to enjoy good food.
Another bonus is that the restaurant have the best spot to watch the sunset while eating!

Can you spot the beautiful color of sunset in the glass window? I was at awe when I saw the view from the window so while waiting for our order I sneak out to take some snaps.

Our overall experience was great, we enjoyed the food and we loved the place!
We will definitely go back to this place next time and we will bring our friends!
