Shrimp Curry Tofu for Dinner Menu 🦐🍛

This afternoon I want to greet my Foodies friends again. First of all, I would like to wish the Muslims who observe it a happy Ramadhan fasting service. How are you, Foodies friends? How was your day ? and what do you want to eat today???

What about the shrimp menu? Shrimp is a dish that is quite popular in many regions of the world. With shrimp we can produce a lot of very delicious dishes. As a main dish that is rich in protein, we usually pair shrimp with white tofu which we know contains many minerals and vitamins which are good for the body.

This time I will cook a super simple tofu curry shrimp menu and you definitely have to try it after reading my blog.

Shrimp Curry Tofu

The sweet taste of the shrimp and the creaminess of the curry sauce are perfect with the addition of soft tofu.



Material :

  • Shrimp 250 gr
  • White Tofu 100grm
  • 3 pcs red onions
  • 3 pcs garlic
  • 2 candlenuts
  • 1 segment of turmeric
  • ½ piece of ginger
  • ½ grated coconut
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 lemongrass stalk (roughly crushed)
  • 1 spring onion

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp flavoring

Cooking instructions

• First peel the coconut and shell from the shrimp meat. After peeling, wash the shrimp with lime juice (so the shrimp don't smell fishy). After the lime juice is evenly distributed, wash the shrimp again with running water.

• Cut the white tofu into pieces, and prepare the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Then fry the tofu until brown.

• Peel the garlic, shallots and ginger and turmeric. After peeling, wash all the spices. Prepare a blender and grind all the spices in a blender until smooth.

• Prepare oil in a frying pan, don't add too much. Add the spices that we have ground. Saute until cooked or the aroma of the spices comes out.

• While waiting for the spices to cook, puree the grated coconut with a blender. The method is to take coconut and put it in a blender and add 500 ml of boiled water. Blend until the coconut is slightly smooth

After the coconut is finely ground, prepare a sieve to separate the coconut dregs from the coconut milk.

• After the spices are cooked, add ½ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar and ½ teaspoon flavoring into the stir-fry spices.

Don't forget to add bay leaves, lemongrass stalks and tomato pieces to the stir-fry spices.

• The spices are cooked, add the shrimp that we cleaned earlier. Cook until the shrimp are half cooked.

• add the coconut milk that we have squeezed into the stir-fry seasoning. Stir in the coconut milk, then add the shrimp that we have cleaned.
