We will call it pizza

Ever been hunger to the point of dammit I'll bite whatever, but there is literally nothing immediately chewable?
Not the best feeling, ha? Yeah, yeah I know, it's even worst when none of you is eager to get back down after more than 5 hours walking.
Lately however our meals base on breakfast and early dinner, with few snacks in between, there is also adjustment on new kitchen, everything is placed different and kitchen is mostly "handy" place, each spice has it's own place next to some that is mostly used and so on, you know what I am talking about.

Currently kitchen is just useful, but nothing is on it's place yet, and that is interesting fact, whenever I move between places kitchen is the last one to be arranged and settled.

Back to the beginning, we were hungry and I had to think of something that will satisfy all our calories needs and be done ASAP.

All ingredients in the fridge was pointing to pizza, and I was in the mood for warm yummy dough topped with whatever!

In order not to offense Italian cuisine, this is not that kind of pizza, dough is made really fast and it contains baking powder, this way of preparing pizza is well known to the generations being raised in '90s [B-day homemade pizza, by mom].

What is now well known as deep dish to me, then was just pizza - exactly, thick crust recognizable.

Having pizza is just one meal, something for later will be needed and no one will change mind about going out - therefore part of dough will serve as nice loaf of bread. Aaaaaand when I am already messing my hands, few apples were staring at me from bowl, that means only one!
Dessert!

For all of this you will need:

1kg all purpose flour
300-400ml sparkling water
40 gr fresh yeast
1 bag of baking powder
teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of sugar

Measure around 800 gr flour, mix with salt, sugar and baking powder, crumble the yeast and add room temperature sparkling water [start with 300 ml add rest gradually if needed], well combine water with yeast and leave it to activate. Dough should have soft consistency but not sticky to your hands [few drops of oil will add on elasticity]. Knead rest of flour with activated yeast and leave it until doubles.

Sprinkle remaining 200 gr of flour on working surface and knead dough once again. At this stage dough is ready for baking, thanks to the combo of baking powder and yeast - what a deathly combo!

What is also a recognizable mark of '90s pizza - ketchup.
Instead of tomato paste base, ketchup was the main star and that actually was the biggest hype, sourly sweet creamy dough texture spiced with oregano [lot's of oregano].

This pizza base was mix of tomato sauce and ketchup with a two spoonful's of cottage cheese.

Split the dough in two parts, one half goes loaf shaped, other sliced in 4 almost equal pieces.

Roll out each crust, top it with desired base, throw few slices of ham, sprinkle with oregano and that would be all!

Ah, well you'll wait until it's baked..:p

Let's keep you busy finishing dessert, you will need two peeled and sliced apples sautéed with crystal sugar, measure up to your own taste. After all liquid evaporated and apples cooled a bit, add few spoons of cottage cheese.

Roll out crust, spread apple cheese filling.
Pull the edges inwards and form crust tucking in apples.

Bread loaf waits on it's oven turn.

Pizza didn't last for long, barely few shots.
I like my crust crunchy, don't know about you.

...sudden apple cheese pizza or pie call it whatever, made the biggest impression, pears and blue cheese was always bombastic version of tastes to me, apple cottage cheese will be used in future as one of favorites.

Bon appetite!
