Simply Fondue

Everyone loves this Swiss fondue cheese. The perfect one would be a fresh mix of cheeses. Otherwise, you always have in house a ready mix, also very fine and easy to prepare in a few minutes when someone happens to visit at the last minute. First rub the caquelon with the garlic cloves. Mix the cheese and mix strongly to melt over medium fire. Serve the cheese fondue immediately so that it does not get cool and form lumps. Also necessary are fondue forks. Use them to spear small cubes of bread and dip them into the melted cheese mixture.

What's better to drink with it? An self-experiment, researchers at Zurich University Hospital concluded that those who feel good can continue to drink white wine and kirsch with fondue without worrying, even though the heavy meal then stays in the stomach longer. Alcohol has been confirmed not to help digestion, in fact it delays it, unlike in the case of black tea.
